This is Lise's blogger and I"m just letting you know there will be no posts until after the beginning of June. I'm heading down to spend some time with my mom as she recovers from hip replacement surgery.

MISSION STATEMENT
MY DEEPEST DESIRE IN WRITING ON THIS BLOG IS TO BE ABLE TO SHARE ALL THE JOY, THE COMFORT, THE HOPE AND THE STRENGTH I RECEIVE CONTINUALLY FROM GOD, BY TAKING TIME TO OPEN UP TO HIM AND LISTEN TO HIM THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD IN THE BIBLE. Meditation: (Proverbs 30:5) God keeps every promise he makes. He is like a shield for all who seek his protection.
Personal Reflection and Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father - We need to know, feel, trust, believe and especially remember that You keep evey promise You make. Thank You for the assurance that You are a shieled for all who see Your protection. We are grateful for Your word, Lord, that we can rest, depnding on You and Your promises. In Jesus' name, we pray. Meditation: (Proverbs 27:6, Proverbs 28:25,27) A friend means well, even when he hurts you. But when an enemy puts his arm around your shoulder - watch out! Selfishness only causes trouble. You are much better off to trust the Lord. Give to the poor and you will never be in need. If you close your eyes to the poor, many people will curse you.
Personal Reflection and Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father - Here are beautiful proverbs to live by. We have a great need for these lessons of wisdom, Lord, especially in these days of so much stress and unhappiness. Teach us to trust in You. Constantly remind us not to be selfish and to help the poor. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Meditation: (Proverbs 22:1,6, Proverbs 23:13) If you have to choose between a good reputation and a great wealth, choose a good reputation. Teach a child how he should live and he will remember it all his life. Don't hesitate to discipline a child. A good spanking won't kill hiim. As a matter of fact, it may save his life.

Meditation: (Proverbs 19:11, 17 & 21) If you are sensible, you will control your temper. When you give to the poor, it is like lending to the Lord, and the Lord will pay you back. People may plan all kinds of things, but the Lord's will is going to be done.
Personal Reflection and Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father - Help us be sensible and to control our tempers. It is easy to retaliate when we have been wronged. Dear Lord, guide us in our giving to the poor. In our lives of affluence, it is easy to forget the poor. May Your will be done in all our plans, Lord. Remind us, all things are for Your glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Meditation: (Pro 1:2-6) Here are the proverbs that will help you recognize wisdom and good advice, and understand sayings with deep meaning. They can each you how to live inttelligently and how to be honest, just, and fair. They can make an inexperienced person cleaver and tach young men how to be resourceful. These proverbs can even add to the knowledge of wise men and give guidance to the educated, so that they can understand the hidden meaning of proverbs and the problems that wise men raise.
