It's been another 6 months again since I've been on "my blog"... Wow! I hope I can get on this a little more often this time...
Right now,I'm doing some writing again on The Gospel of St. Luke... But I'm not sure just yet as to how I will get it on the blog. I'm praying and hoping "a way " will be shown or givn to me...
Oh I can write a lot - I LOVE TO WRITE!!! but, unfortunately I do my best writing in long hand at my kitchen table - I do not do as well on the computer!!!
So today's reading from the Gospel of St. Luke : I quoted one verse from Elizabeth, on how she just found out she will be having a son, even in her old age... and she says:
"How kind the Lord is!" "He has taken away my disgrace of having no children!".
Gospel of St. Luke, lst chapter, verse 25
I was very moved by her words and they got me pondering on how often do I react like Elizabeth when I have good news???
If anyone of you would like to journey with me through the gospels starting with Luke (because of Christmas coming), I'll try and find a way to share my thoughts and prayers with you. Please let me know if you are interested in sharing this journey with me. I'm all excited with the prospect of sharing my faith and beliefs more extensively through opera blog.

Dear Opera Blog friends,
I've been away for a whole year as I've been busy writing a new book that we hope will be published in October 2009. It's coming really well and I'm quite excited about it. I'll be keeping you up to date on my progress, on the title, etc. soon. I hope to do that before I leave for the coast of Maine wth our daughter, Lynn for 2 weeks, beginning June 27 to July 11th... and then off to the Lake with my husband for 6 weeks! So be back in September for sure!!!
I would like to leave a Bible message tonight for our meditation:
"O God, my strength! I will sil sing your praises for You are my place of safety. My God is changeless in His love for me and He will come and help me." from Psalm 59:9-l0
I hope you enjoy these Bible passages as much as I do, as they bring me so much strength each day.
May the Blessings of the Lord be upon each one of you and protect you and your families all Summer!

Today's meditation is from Psalm 55:22-23
"Leave your troubles with the Lord, and He will defend you; He never lets honest men be defeated...As for me, I will trust in You."
PRAYER AND PERSONAL REFLECTION
Dear Heavenly Father, help me to remember to leave my troubles with You, Lord. You will defend me. Time and again You have proven to me that when I bring my troubles to You and leave them with You, You, in turn, always help me and comfort me. You are so wonderful, God. I thank You and praise You. Amen.

"Happy are those who trust the Lord, who do not turn to idols or join those who worship false gods. You have done many things for us, O Lord our God; there is no one like You! You have made many wonderful plans for us. I could never speak of them all their number is so great!"
PRAY AND PERSONAL REFLECTION
Dear Heavenly Father, teach us and direct us, Lord, so that we never worship false gods. In these times, it is very easy to be deceived by the ways of the world; they may sound and feel good but they do not praise and worship You, our Lord and Savior! You have done many wonderful things for us, O Lord our God. Keep us faithful to You and to Your word. Let us sing of Your great love for us. Amen.

PRAYER AND PERSONAL REFLECTION
Dear Heavenly Father, Yes, please be our refuge, protect us. We need You every moment of the day. We need Your protecttion, Lord, because sometimes we can so easily lose our joy, especially if we let ourselves worry obsessively over things we cannot change. Please help us to always bring our worries to You and ask for Your help and protection. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, This is the story of my life before I knew You, God. You did change my sadness into a joyful dance! You have taken away my sorrow and surrounded me with Your joy! No, I will not be silent! I will sing praise to You forever, Lord. Amen.
