Meditation (Psalm 127:1, 2) If the Lord does not build the house, the work of the builders is useless, if the Lord does not protect the city, it does no good for the sentries to stand guard. It is uselss to work so hard for a living, getting up early and going to bed late. For the Lord provies for those he loves, while they are asleep.
Personal Reflection and Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father: We thank You for Your protection, for providing for us while we sleep. This is so beautiful, Lord, to think you are looking after us and our loved ones. We praise You for loving us so much! We do depend on You and need You to be present in our homes and with our families. Amen.

Meditation (Psalm 121:1-3) I look to the mountains, where will my help come from? My help will come from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not let you fall; your protector is always awake.

Dear Heavenly Father: It is comforting and reassuring to know without a doubt that our help comes from You! You made heaven and earth. You will not let us fall. Every day, I ask and depend on You to protect, not only my husband, but all our family, Lord. I thank You that I can count on Your promises. Amen.

We have gone through the first 111 verses of Psalms. Below is a synopsis of how the new blog format works if you are just joining us. Later this week we'll continue with Psalm 112 through 114. Stay tuned.

Dear Ones,
For the next few months, you are invited to join us on a journey through the entire Bible… We will be starting with the Book of Psalms and moving from there to the other Books of the Bible.
What is offered here is a suggested reading at the beginning of each of the meditations, for example; on the first day, it is suggested we read the Book of Psalms, from the 1st chapter through the 4th chapter.
And, I have also selected one or two verses from those chapters as our devotional meditation and prayer for the day.
This is meant to be a journey through the entire Bible, by meditating and praying on a few selected verses from each book of the Bible.
I hope and pray you will enjoy this abbreviated “journey through the Bible” I also hope and pray that following this journey, we will experience in a new way God’s love for each one of us and grow in our relationship with Him!
Here are a few of the dynamics I am proposing:
1) meditating on God's Word
2) listening to God
3) sharing with God
I strongly encourage you to write down what the Lord says to you. That way, you can go back later and remember your thoughts.

Meditation (Psalm 111:10) The way to become wise is to honour the Lord; he gives sound judgement to all who obey his commands. He is to be praised forever.
Dear Heavenly Father: I do need Your wisdom, Lord! Left to my own devices, I cannot make right decisions. I pray for Your wisdom each day. May You give me sound judgement. You have promised it to all who obey Your commands. I praise You forever, Lord. Amen.

I will thank you, O Lord, among the nations. I will praise you among the peoples. Your constant love reaches above the heavens; your faithfulness touches the skies.
Dear Heavenly Father: Complete confidence - what a gift You have given us. We can boast of 'God confidence' because we have complete confidence in You. What a blessing we have! We thank You and praise You, Lord. Help us to praise You to all peoples. Remind us to tell the wonderful things You do. Amen.

Meditation: (Psalm 100:1-3) Sing to the Lord, all the world! Worship the Lord with joy; come before him with happy songs Acknowledge that the Lord is God. He made us, and we belong to him; we are his people, we are his flock.
Dear Heavenly Father: At times, I need to be reminded to sing to the Lord, to worhsip Him with joy. When I am sick and feeling weak, the only thing that gives me a lift is singing Your praises, Lord. I thank You and praise You that You are always there, giving me Your joy, if I but come to You. Amen.
