Speak to me, Lord, I'm listening

Today's message is from Psalm 139, verses 7 and 10:
I can never escape Your Spirit. I can never get away from Your presence! ... Your hand will guide me and Your strength will support me.
Prayer and Reflection: Dear Heavenly Father, may we never get away from your presence and may Your hand always guide us in all we do and say today and every day. In these days of busy-ness, we need Your strength to support us. We praise You that You never get tired of our needing You so much! In Jesus' name, Amen.

Thank you for your encouraging words. I'm glad you found this blog. I'm really enjoying doing this!
As for the source of my Scripture passages, I'll try to explain how I do it... I've been following a "reading your Bible in one year" guide , sometimes from the "The Daily word" a little devotional daily booklet of readings - or more recently "reading the Bible in two years" from "My Word for you today" another daily devotional I enjoy very much. And I choose one of the passages that speaks to me that day and write a prayer to accompany it.
I hope this answer your question...
May the Blessings of the Lord be upon you,
