Here in my city we have an annual winter festival/fair and when I heard the Parlotones are coming I just couldn’t believe it, I love their music. They’re a Indie Rock / Alternative group one of the best in South African if you like Cold Play and REM you will also love them. They are currently based in London UK and did a tour through SA including my town Newcastle.
I’ve been waiting for this concert for months. Friday night we arrived early, I wanted to be right in front and because it is an open concert we had to squeeze out way through dozens of teenagers also eager to see them. But I managed to be right in front, the best place to get a good view of Kahn Morbee Ooo and it was so worth the ugly stares that I got. He is gorgeous, and I just love the words of his songs. Afterwards we went to get the bands autographs (and a hug of course )

O yes I’ve been away for a couple days!? We were short staffed and I had to do extra shifts, and we had a stand at this fair so I had to work there also. But I’m back now and will try to get through as many posts as possible….
