During the fall of 2006 I stayed in Québec, Canada for several months. Here are some impressions of my surroundings.

This summer I spent a couple of days on an old Frisian boat, called a skutsje. We left from Sloten in Friesland, and went up to the Waddenzee. At low tide, the boat is landlocked, and we walked from the boat to the island of Terschelling. On the return journey towards Huizen, the weather improved dramatically for a day and we spent a great evening on the deck with a good meal and some wine. Great holiday!
