What is this place?

This is a scene in the "Lake District" of northern England (I think it's part of Yorkshire). It is in a peninsula just south of Hadrian's Wall, and therefore, just south of Scotland. It is very scenic, and a favourite holiday spot in the summer. I think it might even be a National Park.

It is called Wastwater. It lies in the Wasdale Valley in the Lake District National Park. It is regarded as the most beautiful place in England.smile
