First Blog Entry

I had been considering starting a blog this past year, but I was feeling reluctant. I'm worried that I won't follow through, won't post regularly. I'm not concerned about getting bored with it. I love to write. Its just that my depression can cause me to become apathetic and unfocused.
I used to journal obsessively and got burned out on that. Recently, I've been expressing myself on discussion boards. I was thinking that a blog might be better because I could be a bit more narcissistic about my expressing myself. I still like the discussion boards I belong to. I'm going to need to balance my use of my time. I can so easily lose track of time while accomplishing very little when I'm perusing the world wide web.
There is another reason that I decided to start a blog and specifically why here. I've been following Quentin S. Crisp's blog this past year. He is a writer of weird fiction and I think he usually gets categorized as horror. I don't think I've read any of his fiction, but I might have because I remember having seen his work is in some anthologies. Here is his blog:

Crisp is a favorite writer of my bestfriend. Another weird horror writer I learned about from my friend is Thomas Ligotti. I have read a little of Ligotti, but he is pretty dark. Ligotti is known as the philosopher of horror fiction. He wrote a non-fiction book titled the Conspiracy Against the Human Race, but it hasn't been published yet. I'm exicted to read it. Here is a site and a forum solely dedicated to Ligotti's work:

"But the Creator's taste for the unreal has required something to be real in the first place and then to wither into ruins, to fail gloriously. Hence - the World!"
~ Ligotti(I don't remember which book or story this came from.)

I believe you have communicated through e-mail with my friend. He told me that your inscribing a book for him.
My cat is nice where ever he is... I'm thinking in Heaven.

Ah yes. I wondered if that might be the case.
'Grimalkin' is a very good name for a cat.
