The Rising

As the two wolves awoke they noticed the cold iced walls they had been roped to, the icy lair of the fat Kokle. Kokle stood at the base of the wall laughing in delight at the two“Here’s the deal you filthy swine! You two stay perfectly still for an hour, I’ll set you free! move only a little bit and, well, let’s not talk about it!” Kokle yelled then laughed gaily.
The fiend called his minion into an iced corridor and left Argent and Or. Or looked to Argent “Everything will be fine.”
Argent being surprised at Or talking to her turned around. “I’m so sorry I got us into this, I’m sorry about everything!”
“I’m sorry too! If I had just listened we wouldn’t have been anywhere near here!”
“I forgive you Or.”
“And I forgive you Argent.”With that they both relaxed, Argent’s paw rope slid slightly from the engraved spot in the iced metal beam holding the two up.
“Oh God! I moved!”
“It will be fine. I’m sure they didn’t notice just shift the rope back into the first position.” whispered Or.
At that moment the two could hear the boots of the demented Kokle down the corridor which he had left through.
“Oh God!” Argent screamed, “The rope is stuck already!”
“It will be fine just calm down.” The footsteps sounded closer.
“I can’t make it move!”
“It will be fine I promise just calm down.” The footsteps sounded extremely close.
“Ok I got the rope to move!”
“Now shift it over to the old spot.” The footsteps sounded like they were right outside the main chamber.
“I did it!” As Argent shifted the rope into the old position.
“I told you it would be alright.” The evil fiend and his pet moved noisily into the chamber.
“You two look like you might make it!” laughed Kokle, “It’s been five minutes already! Everyone screams and boo-hoos in the first minute their up there!” The two let out a breath of relief. “Now Renden, check their ropes!” The two tensed up again as the rat slowly made its way up the wall and above the two. Panic struck the lovers as the minion looked over the ropes.
“All clear!” yelled Renden to his insane master. The two relaxed again causing the ropes to rip and they both fell to the ground. Kokle gave a slight shriek and laughed.
“You moved! Now you die!” Then he made a motion toward his pistol.
The two wolves yelled “Please have mercy!” as they slowly, almost stalkingly moved towards the man. “Please don’t, your ropes broke! We didn’t move!” as they still moved closer to the insane man.
Feeling threatened Kokle put his hands in the air, “Please don’t hurt me! You may go! The exit is that way!” as he pointed towards the other side of the chamber. The wolves couldn’t hear him over their own pleas and he was afraid of them because all he could understand was growls from the wolves.
Renden, who had just gotten down the wall saw what was going on and picked up a mouse trap. “No one leaves here alive!” bellowed the rat as he snapped the trap on Or’s tail. Or let out a scream of pain and kicked the rat into the icy wall with so much force an ice sickle fell and skewered the minion and broke the floor from the wall, the wall toppled onto the floor braking the ice into two separate pieces separating Or from Argent, the giant glacier slipped down the floor towards Argent. She ran from it as Or watched in frozen horror as his love fell below the glacier into the rapidly thinning water below it, the glacier pushed the helpless wolf up on the solid ground, smashing her, tearing the flesh from the bone. She let out a bone chilling scream and her skull was plowed into the other stable wall.
As the scream echoed through the chamber Or turned to Kokle who accidently sneered at the death of the she-wolf. kokle looked at the white wolf in time to see it illuminate, the white fur turned to strands of bright light, it’s eyes turned from the dull red to a bright gold. The beast opened its jaws with fury roaring at the frightened man “YOU KILLED HER!” he stepped forward “YOU KILLED HER!!”
The man was immobilized as he began to cry blood. “I’m….s-sorry.”
“YOU KILLED HER!!” taking another step.
The man drooled his own blood “I’m sorry!”
“YOU KILLED HER!!” taking yet another step.
The frightened man excerpted his own blood from every orifice “IM SORRY!”
“YOUR APPOLOGY,” the beast looked the man in the eyes, “IS DENIED!” the beast took one final step and the man exploded into just a puddle of blood.
The wolf moved over to his love, seeing her pale eyes, he holed in grieve once more and the whole lair crumbled around him, he jumped out of the icy rubble and whispered “It will be fine, I promise.” and slowly walked away.
