I girl from poland that I met some months ago told me that she doesn`t trust those "alternative movements" she meant Squaters,Punks,Antikapilatismus,anarchist etc.
When I was young , I did simpathized with that ppl, I was one of them in some degree, I had more extremists friends , the point is that this girl was living isolated from the civilization , in a lost farm somewhere in poland , she lived in Irland , spain and other big capitals .. she is artist , she use only recycled things , buy Bio Detergents , grown her own fruits , tomato etc , indeed SHE IS AN ALTERNATIVE woman too , is true that those movements are over exposed , and there is ppl just following the trend or simply thieves ,
but the main Idea behind that is what can lead our society to a change of paradigm , we do need to buy things , travel.. I mean , to keep the economic sytem in movement . but in a more fair way , we must get rid of Spekulanten, Traders , Landgrabbers , media moguls , armamentism and all that shit
that is driving the world to a fast end.
Who on earth can save us ? ... just ourselves , and more exactly the underclassed , the outsiders , the inconformists , the middle class , the simple and normal ppl , not a Hollywood star campaigning for the hungry ppl from africa or an american leftist actor ... SHIT!!

to monsanto thanks to the UPOV91 ( Chile is the top producer of GMO seeds in the Southern Hemisphere.) a funny topic does appears .

Certainly there's not a phisical one like the adrian,berlin or the chinese wall , but the mapuche´s wall do exist indeed.
When someone ask me , I say : 'I don't defend the mapuche cause,I fight the human greed , so well represented by the chilean right wing' , indeed they are the owners of big mining corporations,they are the owners of the main communications channels , they are the owners of the land (with the wine,wheat) that the indians are fighting to recuperate to themselves , they are the owners of....all.
Along with the miners , there was a mapuche hunger strike that put pressure to the government of piñera . As a good movement of an speculator , obviously all the attention has been addressed to what has become a sort of "Circus" , the rescue of the 33 miners catched some 700 meters deep in the earth ...and grabbed
the sight of the (oh! of course) the international press , what a lucky strike for this "government of excellence" (as they call themselves) should say an insensitive.
But the crue side of this show is that since the start of the excavations to get the 33 miners out , at least 2 or 3 cases of dead miners while working has happened in other places , then , can be said that all this operation is the cure of 'a' symptom ,not the disease.
Looking for profit regardless of the human working conditions seems to be the slogan , and not only in the mining field.
Chile seems to be the last paradise where transnationals can do and undo with the government (Liberal or conservative) support , it is as if there is no other way to be , the chances to born in a rich family are low , the chances to climb socially thanks personal merits are low , the names in politics , bussiness are almost the same since 1810.
When pinochet privatized several state companies , he made sure to pass them to conservatives and loyal supporters of his regime , including some relatives!
But the Landlord mentality is part of the soul of this country , the working class opium is the omnipresent "farandula" , press people and soccer.
So , what can an ethnic group do (whose name means "men of the earth" , whom had lived here before columbus in peace with nature that inspire them love,fear and respect) when the forces of progress and crue capitalism invade and steal their lands? an inner hate has been growing in them since then , the reason? forsaken , outcasted ,usurped , assassinated ...
The Wallmapu's Wall has been an occidental invention , settlers from Germany,holland,france,italy along with the spaniards are the only shit to blame on.
Funny when I think about the legacy of Marx,engels,marcuse ,voltaire , sartre... it seems to be enough the promise of a "New World" to become the hardest trader on earth looking for personal profit and hectares of land.
Soon is October 12th and the mapuches , as always , doesn't have nothing to celebrate , really is the equivalent to the 9/11 for the yanquis or the great fire of london , or the 6th august for japan.

Once again the reason tell me to write something to point out what is the other point of view of the facts , not the one spreaded by the "traditional media" (El Mercurio,El Austral de Temuco, La Tercera...
) about what is happening with the original inhabitants of this land (South of Chile and Argentina) , the wrongly called "Araucanos","aborigins" were indeed the Original Owners and the right name among them is Mapuches (Mapu:earth che:people , People of the earth , as "belonging to the earth")
The government is applying a Law pronounced by pinochet known as "National security Law antiTerrorism" Ley Nº 18.314 , that means that if they are catched in riots while protesting against the Landlords (Mainly from the right wing and supporters of the dead dictator pinochet ) to get back the lands that were usurped (literally) to them , all the weight of this law is applied to them, that means : unfair trials ,dubious masked witness, torture , enprisonment , waste of civil rights and persecution to their families and on and on..
The State of Chile is a hard preacher of the most crude turbocapitalism , since 1973 when pinochet came to power thanks to the coup d'etat backed by the united states, the economy was "revitalized" trought a group of former students of the chicago university, following the measures suggested by G.w.Bush's friend , Milton Friedmann.
Strategic and big companies owned by the state were "privatized" , that means transfered to weird anonym societies created and managed by supporters,friends,members of the pinochet government, family members (including a son in law indeed) ..all that to ensure that the real control of a country and their resources will stay in the right wing.
