About me

My nickname, Medbie, is from the name of famous Celtic Queen--Queen Medb (Mab, Maeve, Mehv) herself. I used it for a Celtic thread once, and it stuck. My husband actually calls me "Medbie", hence the change from Medb to Medbie. Medb is pronounced "Mehv"; just tack on the "E" sound to the end, and you've got it!

My real name is much more bizarre and you'd never believe me anyway, so we'll just stick to Medb.

I'm an uber-happily married 30-something, mother to 4 cats, and step-mother to a little lady that I call the Butterfly. My husband, Stoney, is also my best friend, partner in crime, World of Warcraft playmate and the world's best chili maker.

I live in Eastern Tennessee, a beautiful mountainous bit of country that's almost as nice as my home town in Western North Carolina.

I'm an avid amateur photographer with a special interest in cemeteries.
