DEER, THE SOURCE AND THE LION (Poetess´ REFLECTIONS)

Overwhelmed by thirst, a deer came to a spring.
After drinking, he saw his reflection in the water.
Contemplating his beautiful antlers, felt proud, but was unhappy with his legs weak and thin.
Immersed in these thoughts still appeared a lion started chasing him.
He ran and won a great distance, because the strength of the deer is in their legs and the lion in his heart.
While the field was flat, the deer kept ladistancia that saved him, but to enter the forest horns hooked to the branches and, unable to escape, was caught by the lion.
A point of death, said to himself: - Woe! My feet, I thought I was betrayed, were the ones who saved me and my horns, which put all my trust, are the ones I lost.
