Merry Christmas!

Sunday

Spent most of the week either side of Easter weekend decorating the lounge. Progress since then has been slow; there's nothing back on the walls, the bookcases are still empty, and so on. Sunday's plan for sorting out Energy Consumption Corner was put on hold in favour of lazing in the park with Matts, Meg & Janine. And daughters.

Then Matt and I sped north to visit Teresa in hospital, rescued her, and took her down the pub.

So, moving Energy Consumption Corner was put back 'til tonight, where it was christened by Mark & Stuart, whose new show pretty much negates the need to put the television on in the evening. There's now a clear stretch of good radio from The Archers at 7, through later Late Junction (Kershaw on Mondays) to Book of the Week / The Seventh Dimension at half midnight.

This easter, Peter began to understand The Quickstep a little better. He learnt how to play Puerto Rico, and spent rather a lot of time in The Pub.

we like Stuart a lot. A man who knows his music and has a slightly northern bent on his accent. Nice paint job 50 points all round. hooray.

Hate it when that happens. Always when your Mum's round, innit?
