What this country needs... right now... is a cliffhanger.

Paul Cornell's episodes Human Nature and Family of Blood were probably the best thing the New Who has done. The final episode is on Saturday. John Simm has been most entertaining as The Master. The Doctor, as with previous episode thirteens, finds himself and all of humanity in peril.
I don't want yet another episode thirteen with an all too convenient resolution, however. What I want is an end of season cliffhanger.
The comments contain spoilers for the final episodes if you haven't seen them yet.

Captain Jack is the Face of Boe (sp?) = nice!
The Doctor is Jesus Christ = not so much...

Mixed feelings about the final ep, to be honest, but the ten year old I watched it with seemed to really enjoy it.
The full story behind what they decided to do with Martha will no doubt come out in the tabloids soon.

So new companion, already know Pete's preference but I'd like someone who is really the Doctors equal and holds him more in contempt than awe, like Romana in the early 1980's. She was a much more powerful Timelord but wore thigh-high leather boots and a school-girl uniform. They don't make TV like that anymore.

No they don't.
Maybe they'll make it a man?

Should point out that Romana was a Time Lord (or Lady) and was played by two actresses, the second of whom was married to Tom Baker for a while. Ah, Doctor Who trivia, love it.

Although isn't your blog officially The Home of The Doctor, or something, Matt...?
