Slitherlink

Japanese puzzle magazine publisher Nikoli created Slitherlink, in which you create a looping line on a grid, guided by the numbers 0,1,2 & 3.

Japanese software company Hudson then added Slitherlink to their extensive range of Nintendo DS puzzle games.

Slitherlink and the DS is a marriage made in heaven, as noted here; I potter away on the puzzles with my afternoon tea.

No word of a UK release, but thankfully, the Japanese version is fairly easy to navigate around.

seriously though, that looks more than a little mad. Is it addictive in a sudoku styleeee?

Yes, it is. Similar sort of logic puzzle thing to Sudoku; certain positions of numbers have to have the line going a certain way. (See the 3's next to the 0's above.)

Unlike Sudoku, you can't lead yourself down a blind alley by putting the wrong numbers in, all the information you need to solve it is in front of you.
