A Canadian in Ireland

Doesn't have the ring of "An American in Paris" (or even "An American at Opera") but what can you do?

Some great photos to find in your albums, Mickeyjoe!
Especially I love the photos of the sand art. They are very impressing. :eyes:
But also the Vancouver skyline looks beautiful.
What I miss only is: more photos of the Space Center (because I'm a big fan of Astronomy, Space flight and Space Centers in common).

Thanks for all your work to upload and to post and for sharing this with us!

Sorry Elke, there wasn't that much to photograph in the science center. :o:

Feel the lurrrrrrrrve!! :D

Mick-E 28. June 2007, 23:16

That is one large family reunion Mickey J and you say there is more:eyes:

Beautiful photos, all of them. I especially liked the mountain shots. We just went through Tennessee and I fell in love with mountains.

Mick-E 2. July 2007, 13:37

Yeah, lots of family. There were eleven brothers and sisters on Dad's side, all of whom went on to have families of their own. I must dig out the group shot from the last reunion just to show you what a crowd we were/are.

Thanks for the kind comments on my photos. BC is such a beautiful place.

Mick-E 4. July 2007, 23:12

Hey, I managed to find that photo from the previous reunion. You can see it here.

ALLY G. 5. July 2007, 16:02

Wow, that is impressing! Nice photo of your "invasion" (I like that word!)
Now I can understand, why you've been so excited and happy.
It must be great, to see and to talk with the family members after such a long time.

But, I have a question: why you are in Ireland, when you love BC and your family so much?

Mick-E 5. July 2007, 22:32

Yes Elke, it was wonderful to see everyone and catch up.

Everyone keeps asking me if (or when  ) I'm going back to Canada. I don't see it happening for now. I'm setttled in Ireland and quite happy where I am. And with technology these days it doesn't feel like Im that cut-off.

Sprogger McSprog 12. July 2007, 00:42

Some great shots there mickey, I`ll get back to have a proper look through them soon:D

Mick-E 12. July 2007, 17:45

 sprogger Can't wait to hear your comments
