Thanks to Karen I have a shiny, new, ANIMATED

Isn't she great?

Unfortunately, if I try to upload it anywhere else - and I've tried an album, My Opera's files, and Flickr - the animations breaks

I'll leave a comment below so you can actually get a look at it

And if you haven't seen WALL·E yet, what are you waiting for?

That image at the bottom of the post is supposed to be animated too. For some reason Opera converts GIFs to PNGs when you upload them to an album.

BTW - My.Opera doesn't support animated gifs anymore in albums. If you want to upload an animated gif, you will need to do it elsewhere. They made the change a few months back. I'm not certain why - you'd have to ask them.

I'm assuming it's because animated gifs take up more space or something. :shrug: They are space whores.

stupidly I have deaktivated the picture-animations in my browser, because I don't like animated gifs.

Good question pfelelep. I looked it up - officially it's EVE (Extra-terrestrial Vegetation Evaluator), Eva is just Wall-E's pronunciation. I like his version better though, it's cute.

Oh, that's ok Elke. I know that they can get annoying sometimes.

Some friends of mine noticed how this movie reverses the "cliché: of man and woman personality, as EVE is the strong and idependant woman, which the poor WALL-E male character tries to get attention.
