A Canadian in Ireland

Doesn't have the ring of "An American in Paris" (or even "An American at Opera") but what can you do?

And there was much rejoicing

, ,

The move finally got finished late last night. I can't believe we actually got it done, every time I thought it was finished there always seemed to be something else to go in the van.

The new house looks like our stuff was air dropped in. God knows how long before we get everything put away. And college is starting on Monday :faint:

Anyway, here's a few shots of the new house.

The front

The back

The yard

I did say it was a farm house.

I wish it was San, then we'd somewhere to put all our sh stuff. It's only three bedrooms, the old house was four. And the old house had a attached garage that had been converted to a storage room.

It's a dairy farm hungry. That narrow door on the left is the milking parlour, we get to see the cow s go for milking twice a day.

Nice...looks like it has a built in dog house...do you have a dog?

Mickeyjoe_irl 4. September 2009, 20:41

 No Sarah, I don't think the cats would like that.

There is a farm dog but he's so laid back that they all seem to get along.

Are you talking about that little lean-to in the corner under the satellite dish? I think that was the boiler house, based on the pipes and chimney going into it, though now we have a Stanley cooker for heating.

hungryghost 5. September 2009, 00:12

ooh fresh milk, cream, butter and cheese!

sanshan 5. September 2009, 00:22

p: Okay Hun let's book a flight!

Mickeyjoe_irl 6. September 2009, 10:04

Not too soon, we need to sort out the spare room first.

It started out fairly organised, but as time went on we just started packing in everything we has nowhere else to store. I'm surprised the door still opens.

You guys are cool with sharing a bed, right?
