Doesn't have the ring of "An American in Paris" (or even "An American at Opera") but what can you do?

So I'm here in college with very little to do as two lecturers are out sick. I decided to do some surfing around My Opera, and came across this.

I really liked the poster designs so I took a closer look. Imagine my surprise when I opened the third one

and scrolled down to the user quotes.

“Built in mail client, Speed Dial, and finally, plain old speed!

Guess where I've been. :D

Here's a hint.

And some more help for the rest of you.

I was getting nowhere...

and so I had a cuppa tea. :coffee:

Those lyrics were hard enough to find. Google thought I wanted the band instead of the song.

Folks keep telling me in the comments to relax and have a cuppa. If only they knew.

Caffeine is my drug of choice nervous (well it's between that and the stuff in chocolate) and I consume at least one LARGE mug a day. When I say large, I once measured one of my mugs against a pint glass. You guessed it, the mug was a full pint. And I could drink up to three of those in a day.

The problem, beyond the obvious "what goes in, must come out" is when I have tea in a regular sized mug I have it emptied before I know I've drunk it. I've lost count of the number I times I've tried to take a swig from an empty cup. Homer: Doh!

Oh well, I think I'll go have a cuppa.

Ok, this is a bit creepy...

I was playing a game over in the forums. That got me thinking and just for the heck of it I decided to Google my old hometown.

Anyway, that lead me here. I recognise every house there and most of the names. :eyes::faint:

Like there was any doubt.

How NERDY are you?

I am nerdier than 94% of all people. Are you nerdier? Click here to find out!

My computer geek score is greater than 79% of all people in the world! How do you compare? Click here to find out!

Outcast Genius
65 % Nerd, 78% Geek, 56% Dork
For The Record:

A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.
A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.
A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.
You scored better than half in all three, earning you the title of: Outcast Genius.

Outcast geniuses usually are bright enough to understand what society wants of them, and they just don't care! They are highly intelligent and passionate about the things they know are *truly* important in the world. Typically, this does not include sports, cars or make-up, but it can on occassion (and if it does then they know more than all of their friends combined in that subject).

Outcast geniuses can be very lonely, due to their being outcast from most normal groups and too smart for the room among many other types of dorks and geeks, but they can also be the types to eventually rule the world, ala Bill Gates, the prototypical Outcast Genius.

Congratulations!

Out of the blue.

I got an email from a cousin I haven't heard from in ages. I didn't even think she had my email. It was one of my older addresses so it was lucky I checked. I sent her a link to my blog - so if she's reading this

HI ANGELA!!!!

Then Mom announces that she's going to get a pet donkey. :eyes: God only knows where she gets these notions. She found a fella who'll let her have one "on approval". The landlord will let her keep it in the field behind the house. I'll cut a gap in the hedge so he can get to the shelter we're building behind the garage. Cousin John is going to help with that. All going well, the donkey will be here in about a month. I'll have to post some pictures.

In other news I'm thinking about getting a new phone. Do you have an opinion on my choice? I'm sure you do.:D

:spock:
