Music to Kill Zombies to

Watching TV the other night something caught my... ear  I wasn't interested in the ad, but the music that was used in it.

A bit of searching (isn't is amazing what you can find using the internet? ) and I managed to track down a decent bit of blues. I think my blog is overdue for some more.

Holidaying in Spain next week with the family. :hat:

Lots to do to get ready, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to get on-line while I'm away, but here's something I've been playing to get me in the mood.

Anti-Earworm

,

Have you ever heard the term earworm? That's what you call a song that gets stuck in your head.

But what about a song that that you listened to :left: perhaps a bit obsessively :right: but then completely forgot?

I was listening to the radio the other day and out of the blue they played this.

A Little 3 String Trance Boogie

,

I was watching the BBC the other night. First they showed a documentary about Seasick Steve. Unfortunately I missed the start.

But I did catch all of him performing at the Reading Festival. The highlight being when he closed out the set with Dog House Boogie.

Obligatory Christmas post

Thanks for passing this on to me Leazz

I hope you were all good little boys and girls and Santa brought you what you wanted. He did for me.

A bit surprising that he came at all. We were a bit naughty and only got our decorating done yesterday. Still, I think it turned out rather well.

Last year I posted some seasonal songs which people seemed to enjoy. Again, I'm late, but better late than never.

My cousin Alan and his family, visiting from BC, introduced me to this song by Todd Butler

I laughed so hard I didn't know if I'd shit or go blind.

Another Song Stuck in my Head

, ,

I heard a verse of a song I first heard years ago on TV yesterday. And I keep humming it to myself ever since.

Of course once I got online I had to go and find the words. So now I'm singing it under my breath.

I wonder how long this will last?

Another song stuck in my head.

They've been playing this on the radio alot lately. I wonder why. :D

I really like Mundy. His songs just make me feel good. Light and bouncy and with a bit of humor.

Here a couple more of my favorite Mundy tunes.

I've got a song stuck in my head,

so I had to go track it down on-line.

The Jumbo Breakfast Roll is being played on the radio every morning. And now I can't stop humming it. Good thing I'm a fan of Pat Shortt.

If your browser can't carry a tune, the MP3 is here.
