Hyperion ( Demo tool XML based )

, ,

Hyperion is a tool designed to help developers and artists quickly create
and prototype realtime 3D solutions: demos, benchmarks, little applications
or games.

Hyperion works a little bit as FireFox or IE: it takes a 3D scene description
code, located in a XML file, and executes it. Really simple!

Hyperion aims to put realtime 3D graphics in everybody's hands by using
a new and very understandable scripting language that will ensure an
efficient understanding of the latest 3D technologies. Hyperion uses
a clever mixture of XML, LUA scripting and GLSL (OpenGL Shading
Language). The underlying 3D engine uses OpenGL for hardware graphics
acceleration.

Quase-Cinema ( Free VJ software )

, ,

Recently appearing on the VJ scene is Quase-Cinema.
It needs some work but if you have two moniters can
understand spanish and have a fairly modern
system I recomend it, I dont say this sarcasticly
as spanish in America is a common second language
and the tool is actually pretty good for a first
release. Try it out and give him feedback he needs to
continue development, a thank you never hurts.

Note: The tool is on spanish lanquage site, please use google to translate.

Definately one of my favorites. Its also one of the hardest to
work with without experience, so learn try to get some before
jamming with this bad boy.

Preview every stage of your performance, apply animated textures and
live deformation effects to the 3D object.

The unique Preset Tool lets you save and load preset files for every
changeable value of the program, and automatize the speed and playback

Soyuz ( Free VJ software )

, ,

VJ is a new developing form of visual expression and performance.
It could be found in clubs, rave parties and art gallerias.
SoYUz is the VJ's best friend for mixing his pre-made video
content on the live set. SoYUz is a "video jockey" mixer for
real time video manipulations in a 3D environment.

Like a DJ turntable, the VJ software mix and layer 2 (or more)
different sources of video to create the "Third Image" a new
image that is existing only in that point of time.

The most basic unit of the visual mix is the movie loop. On
top of that, you can add a live video image into the mix or
sync the video to a sound source.
