For some time now, I went to sleep hoping to see snow through my window the next morning. It finally happened and it makes me happy. Many times I caught myself looking at the snow and smiling because I remembered my childhood and how carelessly I played outside.

me, too happy and we had so much of it, then! stacks and stacks of snow!

how nice to finally awaken to the white fluff! had some monster flakes come down last night, but absolutely no accumulation. perhaps soon.

I have a birch outside our home, too- and did growing up- they are so pretty and with the snow... nice photos, Mira heart

Winter has come indeed. In Eastern Siberia people say that the day lengthens and cold strengthens! I like winter too. When I was schoolboy I liked to play snowball fight and to build a snowman.

@Darko- I always imagined Canada with a lot of snow..but I see the things are changing. I read recently that in Sahara fell snow bigsmile

@Jill- Thank you dear heart I like birches, they are pretty.

@Andrew- I love winter. When I was a kid we really had much more snow. I like to sled, I would still do that if I had enough snow and some hills. But here where I live now everything is flat. My parent's home is on the hill happy

Mira I suppose you are brave. In my boyhood days I liked to slide downhill on a sledge too! But my favorite were ski-running and skate-racing...

There is so much snow here but now when I finally have time to sleigh I can't because snow is too high sad I guess there's more snow in Timisoara now, do you have some new pictures?
