The Serbian name of this dish is Projara sa blitvom. I found out on Wikipedia that projara is a fancy variant
of proja (another well known Serbian traditional dish made from corn flour).
Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 3 coffee cups of oil
- 4 cups of milk
- 4 cups of corn flour
- 4 cups of wheat flour
- 10g baking powder
- a little bit of salt
- 300g cheese
- 300g Swiss chard (or if you don't have it you can use spinach)
If you use fresh Swiss chard or spinach, boil it for about 10 minutes before use.
Mix everything and bake.

Ingredients:

- 200g of flour
- 100g of butter
- 70g of sugar powder
- 1 vanilla sugar
- 75g of crushed walnuts
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 baking powder
- 2 spoons of rum
- 2 spoons of (double) cream
- honey
- 150g of hazelnuts
How to make it
Beat the butter with the sugar, then add the yolk, the cream, and the rum and mix it good. After some time add the walnuts, flour and baking powder. Mix it all together. It’s better not to use the mixer, and instead use your hands to make a homogeneous dough. Then shape it into hearts and other forms, as you wish.
Bake everything for 20-25 minutes. While the cookies are still warm, spread them with a little bit of honey and then sprinkle them with crushed hazelnuts. Serve everything cold.

You all know how it's important not to miss your breakfast, the most important meal of the day. I remember with nostalgia the time when I was a high-school student. We had so many obligations, every day learning, praxis, running,..and just a few hours of rest at night. Sometimes it happened that mother called me to come to eat and I didn't have time..really
One of our teachers of praxis used to check on us every morning we came to her to see if we had breakfast. She just looked at us and said "You ate!" "You didn't!" and she guessed well
Sometimes the lack of time or ideas makes us skip our breakfast. But then we eat much more for lunch than we should, and that's not good either.
This is how I usually make my breakfast:
In 200 ml of yogurt I put one grated apple, add a little honey, cinnamon, and some cereals like oats, rye,.. mix it all and it's ready.
I found that a typical breakfast in Vienna (Wiener Frühstück) includes pastry with butter and jam, coffee with milk or orange juice.
An American breakfast includes bacon and fried eggs, sometimes pancakes with maple syrup and a very popular are muffins.
French breakfast includes fruits, a warm croissant with supplements and coffee with cream.
Dear readers, friends, what do you like to have for breakfast?
