For the very first time...

me: "...it is about four hours from prague to berlin by train, so..."
not me: "ohh come on..are you crazy? Hitchhike!"
me: "noooooooo, i can´t hitchhike just by myself!"
not me: "sure you can, it´s great, you should start!"
me: "well..to be honest, i was thinking about it..."
not me: "you see?"
suddenly i´m packing my things and going to take a bus behind the city, with my friend, she promised to help me, not to let me stay alone there..if someone stops, it will be ok, because he stops for two girls not for one..it will be ok..for sure..oohhh, i´m so brave (with her by my side)
i did it (with her help..thanks god, thanks julia:)) i´m in krakow, meeting friends, feeling so great and so new:) my stay in poland is over, i´m packing my things..
suddenly, i´m standing at the roadside. ALONE. (me??? hitchhiking? ALONE?!?!?) first, i don´t like this place, it is not a good place - i´m walking few (hundred) meters to the right. this is not a good place either. i´m walking further. after a (longer) while i realize there´s a traffic sign. i feel like an idiot - it´s the "no stopping" one

i´m moving back. and catching my first car. yahoooo!! i was told before: krakow-katowice-ostrava, don´t worry, it´s very fast. i was told in the car: i take you to wroclaw, it is much more closer to prague from there. i said yes. the woman even left me an umbrella, what a personality (she works in a hotel where every third one forgets the umbrella - she has many umbrellas:)). i hate umbrellas, i go to the hotel and i forget the umbrella at the bathroom (was it on purpose?)
catching another car, taking me somewhere - getting closer and closer to the frontiers - step by step. that time i finished having any idea about my position and location in poland. he set me out somewhere what looked like a middle of nowhere. he told me to go few meters to find a bus-stop and hitchhike from there. ok. there was no bus-stop. first kilometer. nothing. second kilometer. nothing. then, there was a man parking at some spot. i asked him with my 4-words-skills of polish, but politely, if he would be so nice to take me somewhere further (and save me:)) he seemed to be scared but said ok. set me out in a village. it was getting dark almost. i started to think about sleeping in that middle of nowhere but didn´t know how to do it. i had 4PLN (about 1,50EUR) and a40CZE (the same) and my credit card, no ATM to reach there. the frecuency of cars there: a group of six of them every five minutes..bad enough:)
i wasn´t worried, i wasn´t afraid, i wasn´t desperate - i was laughing (while my imagination was trying to think about a way to get home, home sweet home). this kind of happens in my alternative reality sometimes:) then i finally caught a truck driving to the frontiers - i was saved.
i got to the frontiers and was forced to take 4trains to get to prague - 180km took me 5hours. but it was dark. i might be brave. i might be not that brave. i might still have left some piece of mind though
it was a great trip. it was worth it. poland is a fine country. beautiful fields:)
thanks to all the people that made me do this
