Regret nothing

Mami Trini, I LOVE U...you left me for 11 years ago

, , , ...

For 11 years ago, my maternal grandmother left the Earth-life to unite with God. If I could turn back time, I would! I would have loved and enjoyed spending more years with her. She was the one who always had time with me, she was the one who always had patience for me, she was the one who taught me how to play the piano, she is the one who left me the best heritage one could ever get (my belief, the appreciation of my culture and the knowledge of the history of the Machicao-family). I so love her...and sometimes it feels like if I would have taken another decision I would have been so lucky. I know that I was/am not the only one who misses her, she left traces on every path she wandered, but I miss her still and I feel like I have to write it down!

In 1996, I took the Holy Communion for the first time. SHE could not be there and  I dedicated it to her. If I would have not bothered about it and decided to not take it in Bolivia she would have been around a little bit longer...I was asked by my mum if I wanted to stay in Sweden during 1996 but I was so decided about taking my second Sacrament that I said no. My aunt had been with my grandma for a couple of months and even though the Swedish government offered her residence permit, she said "how could I ever stay here, in this rubbish country!" and since my mum was in Bolivia with me and my grandmother didn't want to stay alone during summer she travelled to Bolivia...after a couple of weeks, she had a cold so we went to a hospital in La Paz. The doctors said that she just had a cold but that it would be good if she stayed over the night...so she did! But for every day that passed by she got worse. One night she had had need for going to the lu, but the nurses that worked the night-shift didn't come so she urinated on her bed. Even after that she tried to call them but they never came. So she slept on the urine (in winter), so of course she got worse. Within a week she died, 9 days before her Birthday...which my mother had been planning to have a big party for!

If I would have said, oki, let's stay in Sweden...she would have been able to teach me more about life, to tell me more about tolerance, to tell me more about herself.

I thank her for everything I am...
I thank you MAMI TRINI! TE AMO, TE ADORO Y LO HARE HASTA EL FIN DEL MUNDO!

Girl talk...

, ,

Me and my dearest friend Wen were chatting yesterday (friday) about life and we started to talk (of course) about LOOOOOVE!
Our first conclusion to the question whether love exists or not, is NO! Not between people of different genders anyway...what exists between them is sexual attraction, nothing more and nothing less. What do you think?
Our second conclusion of relationships is that both men and women are always chasing what they can't get.
For example, I do not want a guy who isn't protective of me (not overprotective) if a situation comes up and someone starts a fight with me. My date/guy/boyfriend (whatever you want to call him/it) should show his feet (Swedish proverb!?) and kind of say: "do not touch her/do not insult her, or you will have bruises!" or something similar.

If we look at Logan (Jason Dohring) in Veronica Mars (you got me, I love this serie), he is not THAT good-looking, but he becomes attractive just because he is such a gentlemen.

Support the decision taken by the government of Venezuela about RCTV

, , , ...

The past weekend, the conservatives in Venezuela made a huge protest against the decision taken by the government, about not extending further transmission of the TV-channel RCTV on the territory network.

This campaign against Venezuela in different journalistic areas, has been intensified lately. I'm not against people protesting if they feel that something is wrong, but if they are doing that on the wrong basis...that I just can not accept!:irked: The protest is viewed as being against the closure of the whole channel. But, actually, RCTV can continue to send via cabel- or satellite-TV, but is withdrawled from the territory network because they took an active part in the coup d'état of the Venezuelan government in April 2002, and furthermore has broken the laws which regulate publicity and nudity amongst others.

In which country would the government accept such kind of illoyality, when the channel shows what they want and not the truth?

"Don't forget about me, I could never" - Veronica Mars

, , , ...

The two last episodes of the BEST serie EVER has been aired, and it's not without tears running down my cheek... that I write this!
I will never ever see more of her life, she was somehow similar to many teenagers/young adults (females of course!)...she was even similar to me :worried:nervous
At least I'm glad I have all the episodes so that I can see them repeated times, on an unknown number of occasions!

Don't forget about me

I could never

I won't...believe me, I won't!

Lollipop and Mika

, , ,

Have you heard Mika? He is one of the best singers nowadays...I really like his music...I was bored yesterday and found this video that a group of teenagers made to one of Mika's song Lollipop...what a job!
Check it out!:headbang:

Cleared my thoughts...

, , , ...

I decided to run today, (actually...I've decided to live a healthier life...this is my third day w/out any chocolate bar! ) and while my companion was just beside me (Muñeco) I didn't have any concerns in my head...it was just empty, and that was exactly what I needed!
I ran 30+- 10 minutes, and it was wonderful...I can't remember the last time I sweat as much as today, maybe 2 years ago...or even 3, when I was still in my upper secondary school...I feel so alive now, and sweaty!

I'll try to do different exercises every day, yesterday for example I rode my bike 1 hour...that was tough...although not as tough as for my little dog (oki...i  my dog, he is just the BEST), next time I'll take his bike carriege...I did some sit-ups yesterday too, and I can feel that my stomachal-muscles are not trained at all...now if u excuse me, I need fooooood!

See ya! p:

Favourite songs (not winners, but they won my heart)...ESC!

, , , ...

Turkey 2004: Athena

Macedonia 2004:Tose Proeski (I was even in  w/ him! )

Ukraine 2006:Tina Karol

Croatia 2002:Vesna Pisarovi

Bosnia 2003: Mija Martina

Greece 2002:Michalis Rakintziz

Russia 2002: Premier Minister

Representant of Switzerland 2005: Vanilla Ninja

24 countries, 1 winner

, , , ...

Bosnia-Hercegovina:
"A river w/out name"...makes sense? nooope. A nice ballad, but became boring to the end of the song

Spain:
The clothes were just a copy of Russia's representants 2002, the number of members...the same...the only difference between those two contestants is that the song contributed for 5 years ago was a good song...they even had a better English pronunciation than the representants of Spain!

Belarus:
The first I noticed was Koldun's nose, and it annoyed me! His legs...a copy of Brainstorm 2000! Koldun's performance didn't impress me at all...

Ireland:
I would have looooved the song in another competition, contest or performance, but it didn't fit in, in ESC2007...I know that this might sound nasty, but why not send Riverdance next time...you might have a better chance! (sorry Irish...I doooo love u but not this song)

Finland:
Not entertaining, just black everywhere! too much hardrock...I couldn't stop comparing the song w/ Evanesence.

Macedonia:
Now we're talking GOOD MUSIC. Much better (and her pronunciation sounded better than Spains')

Slovenia:
Opera...put all her energy into the performance of the song...i couldn't stop wonder "waz up w/ her hand!?", she had lights in(on) it! COOOOL!

Hungary:
why the stop sign? she wasn't dressed up for party...no show...no comments from me!

Lithuania:
The picture that appeared in my head after seeing the beginning of the performance was: Brazil, don't ask me why! A calm song, not my style directly...p:

Greece:
Greek rythms!! :hat: But I have to admit that the song sounds much better in my mp3 than it did on Saturday..but I liked it! Good performance!! A copy of the Armenian song from last year, the ropes...check it out yourselves!

Georgia:
Good show, nice dress...did u see her fake-tattoo? that was WONDERFUL ( Should I get a tattoo like her?)

Sweden:
Perfect performance...the only people I can blame is the camera-man(men)...they didn't give Ola (the leadsinger of The Ark) the time he needed in front of the camera to flirt w/ the audience...The band did a GOOD JOB!

France:
Perfect! I :heart:d the song. This is the first time I've enjoyed and liked a song from France! The best contribution from that country in years! it was pink! They gave exactly what I expected from them...

Latvia:
Il divo resemblance. Good...liked it, but not more than an approval!

Russia:
when will they make out with the tripod?:spock: :ko:

Germany:
Wonderful language...but not a wonderful song, unless u like jazz...and i certainly do not!

Serbia:
Not wrong..a fighter! Loved the strength and energy of the ballad.

Ucraine:
show for everyone, but no meaning behind the melody nor the text! Different performance...

Great Britain:
this SUCKS!:furious:

Romania:
Here we talk about life! The six singers are happy:rolleyes: PARTTYYYYYYYYY:D

Bulgaria:
Drums...the only good part of the song was when the man said "Europe, we love you", after the performance was done!

Turkey:
Partyfeeling:wizard:

Armenia:
Boring! How could the journalists say that this was one of the strongest songs in the competition?

Moldavia:
Violin... A lot happened in a small area!

Final ESC 2007

, , , ...

This evening we have a real big event:hat: ...the final of Eurovision Song Contest 2007, we will have to wait until the 22nd of May 2008 () to experience something of the same status and quality! I do hope Sweden wins tonight, but we'll see how the voting goes...above all with the votes from eastern Europe...p:

Other songs that I like come from:
France
Macedonia
Serbia
Hungary
Greece
Georgia
Romania

and...
Turkey

Surprise surprise...only two of the songs that I like and which will participate in the final come from west Europe...I guess that all the talk about the voting for neighbouring countries is just crap...from west Europeans jealousy! I think that we (and I count with me as a west European)have to send better songs...after all the typical rhythms are not that appealing anymore...they were it once, but the music taste of people changes with time! West and east Europe...unite! (and vote for Sweden)

I'll be happy if any of the songs above win... happy, happy

Countries which went to the final of ESC 2007

  1. Belarus
  2. Macedonia
  3. Slovenia
  4. Hungary
  5. Georgia
  6. Latvia
  7. Serbia
  8. Bulgary
  9. Turkey
  10. Moldavia

6 out of 10 is not bad! I can my stuff!

Eurovision Song Contest Semifinal 10/5-07

  1. Israel
  2. Belarus
  3. Iceland
  4. Netherlands
  5. Serbia
  6. Macedonia
  7. Turkey
  8. Moldavia
  9. Hungary
  10. Danmark

Veronica Mars & ESC 2007

I  VERONICA MARS...and I can't understand how I've been able to live without one of the VM's episodes! I don't know how I will survive in the future...but I don't have to worry about that now! ESC 2007:It's only 6 days left until the start of the semifinal and the start of the European festivity that I will certainly take part of!! I so long for it...the bad part of the picture here is that my TV doesn't work and I won't be able to record the semifinal and the final unless one of my beautiful friends help me out! :sherlock: HELP ME OUT!

24/4-07 --> Arrested for damage!

, , , ...

"I have to elaborate this evening's events...more will come later!" <-- this was what I wrote for a couple of weeks ago, and the reason why I didn't write more was because of lack of time and my computer being a freak as usual it didn't work! However...here comes the story:
Me, Matilda and Love had decided to set up a couple of posters about the march and celebration of May 1st, and we had barely started glueing them on walls when two security guards appeared out of nowhere. They told us that what we were doing was illegal and that we had to wait for the police to come...in other words we were arrested and not aloud to contact family members or friends since as they said "they could come and release us". I must admit, first I was almost depressed...I kept thinking about my future profession and me getting no job at all...but the more time passed by the more I accepted the fact that I could not do anything about it! At the end, I saw all of this as a wonderful experience...and as a matter of fact it is! How many people will be able to tell their children that they were arrested for glueing posts for political reasons! :headbang: Not many in the society of today!

We startes ta chat with the security guards and one of them was really nice and talkative...we (me, Matilda and Love) started to talk about everything; politics, religious beliefs, summer concerts...and finally the police arrived! After 1 hour and 30 minutes..they asked us if we knew that what we've done was wrong and we denied it (I and Matilda did, Love agreed to a certain point having known)...we kind of knew it but at the same time not...I know, it sounds strange but we didn't think if it was illegal or not while putting the posters up...we just wanted our message to reach most of the people...however...the police talked with each other and let us go, without marking us in the police register!!:D

It certainly was a pitty that we didn't put up all of the posters that we had planned to, but what the heck!! Now we are one experience richer than the rest of the population! :headbang: :headbang:
