As you can see in the post of yesterday I was on my way to a friend's place and the hours that we were there were lovely. Muñeco didn't disturb her ( ) and we ate a couple of terrific good plates. And I even got my b-day presents; raspberry jam and a book called "From the Heart" with quotations about love. I really needed that! My outfit was lovely... Rrrright?
I hurried back home, to change outfit and get to "Lisa's Farewell party". Wen opened the door, I got into the local where the party was being held, a quick hi to Lisa and then I was all alone. Muñeco found himself a couple of people who were interested in him. At a table, some people were smoking waterpipe, and of course I had to try it myself. Grape was the taste of it and had been brought from Dubai, by an exchange student from Palestine! And for being the second time I smoke it, I think I did it quite good! Afterwards, I was just going to get my cidre and then I got caught in a gang of people, who were from Macedonia. And I just love that country, mostly because of Tose Proeski. They were really nice people and one of them had played elite-basketball. I managed to get a picture with him, Emil is his name! Afterwards I met a guy whom my high school friends have talked a lot about, mostly because we have the same last name and because we are very similar. Both like to take (and be in) pictures and we connected. He was the main DJ of the party while I got to choose some songs! Anyways, after having been dancing for a while I went to Wen's friend Jessica and she was talking with some guys. These were from France and were really nice. Remember that by this time I was already drunk. Anyways, we started to dance...and then I moved back to Hernan (the guy with the same last name as myself) and suddenly the French guys were there as well. I started to dance with one of them... ( quite close) and after having danced with him and Hernán I had to leave, to not miss the last bus. The French guy is really good looking, but I didn't think anything more about it. As written above, I was drunk...and on the train I managed to get some shots of myself and my beautiful shoes (bought in China) with which I had no problems to walk nor dance in. Okay, being on the train...only two stations from my place, a guy (who is my eyecandy in school) gets in...What's the coincidence? We've decided that we'll take the train from school together on Tuesday!
Anyways, this morning I get a text message from Wen, where she tells me that the French "good-looking" guy is GAY! A bit embarrising! Oh well. I had fun yesterday. That's the point, right? And I even got to meet my "eyecandy"
The picture below was taken today, while I was waiting the train to take me to my extra-work! I look so philosophical!
That was all from me! Pictures from the party will come later, as soon as I get them from facebook (and from Hernán's camera). I managed to take two pics with my cell...and the rest with Hernán's camera. My digital camera sucks at night-time.
It's Sunday, 1st of June, today. But three years ago it was a Wednesday and... my high school class was about to graduate.
Let me tell you a bit about the rituals that most high school classes have on their graduation, something we had too. Before the celebration starts organized by the teachers, the graduating class meets one last time early in the morning for champagne-breakfast.Champagne is drinken and strawberries are eaten during the breakfast.
Afterwards the students get breakfast from the school, the ceremony starts, students hold speechs (I was one of them) and last but not least, grades are given to them. At 11.00/12.00/14.00 (depending on the school) sharp they run out from school to their parents and friends who are waiting to congratulate them and give them presents. Pictures are taking with other classmates and hats are signed with greetings.
Later on, most students travel on truck beds in town at the same time as they drink and sing, and are happy. Afterwards, there is a reception with the closest family and friends where the students eat and get even more presents and congratulations. In the late afternoon there is a short break in the celebrations before the whole class meets and goes to a bar/discoteque and have a last evening together.
And when they are totally wasted...or just tired...they take the subway and go home for some well deserved sleep.
And that, my friends, is how the graduation day is celebrated in Sweden.
I'm in pain! This was the first day I exercised for real, yesterday it was just dance but today it was more than just a couple of steps and easy moves. Not even 12 hours after my visit to the gym I have pain; in my left knee, my back and my stomach. And that even though I stretched properly. I know that I'll have a lot of pain on Thursday when I'll go to the next heavy visit to the gym.
After the exercise I met a friend of mine and we went to a café and we had Coffee Latte, and it was the best I've ever tasted! :yummie: I'll definitely go back to that café in the future! After that meeting I went to the headquarters of my party to make phone calls to all of the members in our club. Now that I'm the responsible of the sympathizers I have a job to do, that is to contact new and old members so that they become active. It was really nice spending that time calling at the same time as I met people that have become friends in such a short time
Have you read or heard about the australian boy who had a party at his parents house and around 500 people turned up? His parents were out of town on vacation and there was a big BIG party..but it didn't turn out that good did it? Police was called by the neighbours to calm down the teenagers (party animals) after having received calls from the neigbours. All in all, their parents/Corey Delaney will have to pay an amount of 20,000 §, and the best/worst part is that the 16 year old boy in out on the run. He is afraid that he might get killed by his parents but at the same time he makes advertisement for himself. Just watch the following clip I found on youtube.
My beloved friends, you might have a wrong idea of what this post will be about, it won't be a bit philosophical as it could be interpreted by the title. It's actually what I literally have to do...I went out to have a couple of s yesterday with a friend who had invited his friends and the friends of his friends. The idea of yesterday's party was simply to get to know new networks, such a brilliant idea! Some of you might know that I the German language (the most wonderful language on Earth)...and for the first time I met people that share the same opinion with me,others that share the same political ideas and furthermore others who love the German country or are from Germany. On the picture it's Jonas (the organizer of yesterday's evening) and myself.
I have to go to Uppsala today to bake cookies for an event on Thursday [UTNARM], where students will try to bond with people in the labour market. Muñeco woke me up, I thought, just before 9 and we went out for a walk. Back home I turn on the computer and see that it's only 8 in the morning! I had totally forgotten about the winter period and that the clocks must be turned back one hour! So now I have one hour more to do something essential or maybe some studying ...it will probably be some cleaning
I have new pictures in my October album from yesterday...they aren't many but they are beautiful! /// Mizz Martínez
Ps.
Im having a blast in front of my computer...now that it's finally working! I'm not in the mood to go out to a discoteque or something but I'm having a small party at my place...w/ myself! I was browsing Youtube and since I didn't find anything that didn't contain sex-symbols I browsed for my favourite artist of all time, RICKY MARTIN, and found a song that makes me see how good the world would be if we would have more people as him! Here's a song sang by him, called Pegate! I put the lyrics to the song so that you can sing w/ RM!
Today, after work I will meet Aisha and we'll go to my place...later on, Daniel will go w/ us to buy tobacco and coel for my waterpipe (it will be my first time ever, hope it works with the one I bought in Morocco). At 5pm I will meet Wen, Carro and perhaps some others and if the weather allows it we will grill near the beach...otherwise we will be at my place... At 9pm I will be at the cinema watching HARRY POTTER! Saturday: Wen and myself will meet Lisa and Mona (they are coming back from their Europe-trip today!) and we will guide a guy from Corea (correct spelled? ) and we will be his guides... Later on we will party, where is not known...but arty: it will be! Sunday: good question...I don't have any idea...
I have less than an hour left at work (I really want to work here in the future btw)…I’ve already started with the writing of the project. I’ve planned to compare the data of the ventilation, the consumption of electricity and the heat in the building to one or two simulations [depending on how they work and how well I can adjust the data to the simulated building]. I would like to have a better calculation program but I have to use what I have. If a better one comes around the corner I will of course try to include it in the conclusions and discussion-part of the project.
I’m not lying, it is Friday today (and a complete week after my tattoo was done). Some friends will come over to my place where we will eat Fried Rice. Do you know what it is? I don’t, but I’ve heard it’s very simple and cheap to do that plate. After lunch, my co-workers and me went to the state-controlled company for the sale of alcoholic beverages. I had not planned to go there but since the others went then I thought: “why not buy something while I’m here for today or another day!” I bought a Bulgarian white wine and a cider for today. After dinner we will go to some club in town. We had thought of going to a place where they have latino-music, called La Isla, where I’ve never been and where most of the visitors are immigrants and who are looking for residence permit. However, now the plans are changed! We will go to some other club(s) and I will try to tell you later how everything went. What I know right now is that Leila is coming for dinner (don’t know if she is going out w/ us later). My other mates (Wenny and Daniel) are eating dinner and going out to w/ me. We’ll see if anybody else joins us later on during the evening.
Bosnia-Hercegovina: "A river w/out name"...makes sense? nooope. A nice ballad, but became boring to the end of the song
Spain: The clothes were just a copy of Russia's representants 2002, the number of members...the same...the only difference between those two contestants is that the song contributed for 5 years ago was a good song...they even had a better English pronunciation than the representants of Spain!
Belarus: The first I noticed was Koldun's nose, and it annoyed me! His legs...a copy of Brainstorm 2000! Koldun's performance didn't impress me at all...
Ireland: I would have looooved the song in another competition, contest or performance, but it didn't fit in, in ESC2007...I know that this might sound nasty, but why not send Riverdance next time...you might have a better chance! (sorry Irish...I doooo love u but not this song)
Finland: Not entertaining, just black everywhere! too much hardrock...I couldn't stop comparing the song w/ Evanesence.
Macedonia: Now we're talking GOOD MUSIC. Much better (and her pronunciation sounded better than Spains')
Slovenia: Opera...put all her energy into the performance of the song...i couldn't stop wonder "waz up w/ her hand!?", she had lights in(on) it! COOOOL!
Hungary: why the stop sign? she wasn't dressed up for party...no show...no comments from me!
Lithuania: The picture that appeared in my head after seeing the beginning of the performance was: Brazil, don't ask me why! A calm song, not my style directly...
Greece: Greek rythms!! But I have to admit that the song sounds much better in my mp3 than it did on Saturday..but I liked it! Good performance!! A copy of the Armenian song from last year, the ropes...check it out yourselves!
Georgia: Good show, nice dress...did u see her fake-tattoo? that was WONDERFUL ( Should I get a tattoo like her?)
Sweden: Perfect performance...the only people I can blame is the camera-man(men)...they didn't give Ola (the leadsinger of The Ark) the time he needed in front of the camera to flirt w/ the audience...The band did a GOOD JOB!
France: Perfect! I d the song. This is the first time I've enjoyed and liked a song from France! The best contribution from that country in years! it was pink! They gave exactly what I expected from them...
Latvia: Il divo resemblance. Good...liked it, but not more than an approval!
Russia: when will they make out with the tripod?
Germany: Wonderful language...but not a wonderful song, unless u like jazz...and i certainly do not!
Serbia: Not wrong..a fighter! Loved the strength and energy of the ballad.
Ucraine: show for everyone, but no meaning behind the melody nor the text! Different performance...
Great Britain: this SUCKS!
Romania: Here we talk about life! The six singers are happy:rolleyes: PARTTYYYYYYYYY
Bulgaria: Drums...the only good part of the song was when the man said "Europe, we love you", after the performance was done!
Turkey: Partyfeeling
Armenia: Boring! How could the journalists say that this was one of the strongest songs in the competition?
Moldavia: Violin... A lot happened in a small area!
