Mizz Martínez

is off to do some work!

Trifles

It's been a long day, and no...my dearest son is not with me. He is still at that "summer camp", but I really don't think that he will be staying with that family since their demands are so many. I have to look for another family in another place. Muñeco will come home tomorrow instead. Time? Unknown. :right:

So, what have I been up to today? I went to town at around 11.30 to look for gifts to a couple that I've known since I was very little. The guy is a very far relative and the gal is a former classmate. I have no idea what to buy to them as a gift. Any ideas? Anyways, I went looking for gifts but instead of finding them I bought two books. One is written by Joyce Brothers and the book is called "What every woman should know about men". It's more a fact-book than anything else, and very interesting I must say. The second book is "The other side of the story" written by one of my favourite authors, Marian Keyes.

Afterwards I met my dearest friend Wen. We haven't met since February if I'm not wrong. Not because we didn't have time, but because I didn't feel like it. Since I took my "year off" from U I didn't feel okay being with Wen nor the others. Mostly because I got all stressed and a bit depressed by what they were up to. To be away from Wen and my other high school friends was something that I needed. To handle my problems in my own way. I know that Wen will always be there for me, and that's enough.
We decided that we needed some food and after having bought some snacks we went to the Old City and updated each other on each other's lives. :faint: But besides talking we did some work. p: Here comes the third K&W's TV-show. I hope you enjoy it!

The link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBP7EDLDQ-c

Oh yeah...the marathon. Do you have any idea of how many kilometres they run? It didn't look hard at all. p: I hope they had fun! I know that I had a blast today! Me with the city hall in the background

I like Marian Keyes! It's a guilty pleasure - I don't like chick-lit at all usually, but she writes so well. I really liked The Other Side Of The Story.

I love all of her books... and I'm totally with you. I don't like chick-lit either...but she has IT, you know!

Yeah, I agree

A 20-second mention on the K&W TV show. :faint:
I feel so honoured
:wipes tear from eye:

:sst: Surely you can already answer her question at 1:10 though

City hall? What City hall?

By gdare, # 31. May 2008, 22:29:00

A marathon is 42 kilometres, a half marathon is 21 Kilometres and an ultra marathon is 84 or more kilometres.

By qlue, # 1. June 2008, 01:55:28

avatar
I didnt get mentioned on the TV show :frown:

It area you filmed the small clip in seemed like a very peaceful place.

It would be nice to sit there and relax in the sun.

Haha...I hope you feel honoured Moe! You deserve it! p: Well, she asked the question to you...not me!

The city hall is the red/brown-building in the background.

Thanks Aadil! 42 km is nothing..right? p:

Ripp, no..you didn't get mentioned on the TV-show. Firstly, because you have never expressed if you liked it or not, while Moe has...repeatedly. Secondly, you haven't been online much lately which consicutively means that you had no idea what I was going to be up to. But now I know that you LOOOOOOVE this "show" and I'll think about it for next time ( :sst: Saturday). Any special suggestions? On what we would have in the show, fan #2 of "K&W's TV-show"? The place is really wonderful, one of my fave places here in Sthlm!

By MizzMartinez, # 1. June 2008, 05:41:28

avatar

Well, she asked the question to you...not me!

But you could have told her: "Moe is an :alien:"

Firstly, because you have never expressed if you liked it or not, while Moe has...repeatedly.

Repeatedly? I only mentioned it once twice ten times twenty times a hundred times a few times

By Moesring, # 1. June 2008, 10:47:11

avatar
I can't lie to her Moe! Why do you want to brign out my bad side? p:

By MizzMartinez, # 1. June 2008, 11:04:21

avatar
Bad side? I didn't know you had a bad side.
:sherlock: Is it your left side or your right side?

In any case, it is your duty as her friend to tell her the truth about Moe. :D

By Moesring, # 1. June 2008, 11:10:59

avatar
I don't know exactly where my bad side is situated...but to lie to a friend is definitely something bad!

I've already told her that you are GREAT!

By MizzMartinez, # 1. June 2008, 11:48:47

to lie to a friend is definitely something bad!

I've already told her that you are GREAT!

Are you familiar with the word "hypocrite"?

By Moesring, # 1. June 2008, 12:01:38

:eyes: ok what do I want to see on the K & M show????? Are you sure you want to ask that????? I can give you everything from wardrobe to lines and "positions" :left: :eyes: :right: where do you want to start?

Actually, it is your show and therefore it will be your decision as to if you want to mention me or not. I would never want to force you "out of quilt" etc... to mention something about me. I was just teasing you a little.

As for me being off line. I am still having a difficult time and just not able to be online as much. I also had to work on a "letter" about some personal stuff and it took quite a while for me to compose it.

awww you dont have to rub it in though and make me feel bad for not being online :frown:

By ripp2002, # 1. June 2008, 18:39:02

avatar
Yeah...somebody *cough Aadil caugh* told me that once. But Moe :irked: I'm not such person..and I really like you, which means that you are absolutely not an :alien:!

The reason to why I asked what you'd like to see is that the show has absolutely no special lines...we talk a bit and then I introduce it to you. That's it! We need some feedback... :right: And about the part of you being "offline"...well...I definitely missed you! :left:

By MizzMartinez, # 1. June 2008, 21:06:01

avatar
awww that is nice; you should miss me

ok. I will write up an entire dialogue for you both and you can do it next sat. I will PM it to you so it is a surprise for everyone.

By ripp2002, # 1. June 2008, 21:11:12

avatar
SHOULD? Why should I miss you!? :eyes:

I'm not promising that we'll have it in the vid if it's too kinky/pervy/rippsy! p:

The New York Marathon is 26 miles long. Think the Boston marathon is that long too, though not entirely sure.

By FXM256, # 1. June 2008, 22:28:48

avatar
So the distances vary?

By MizzMartinez, # 1. June 2008, 23:46:59

avatar
They may, I'm not the marathon type so I wouldn't know how long they are. 26 miles is still wayyy tooo long for me to run! :ko:

By FXM256, # 1. June 2008, 23:51:10

avatar
26 miles? Wait a minute...I thought you had written 26 km! :faint:

How much is 26 miles? Here in Europe it would be 26,000 km. Is it the same in the states?

By MizzMartinez, # 2. June 2008, 04:11:34

avatar
I think a marathon is 26.2 miles

By ripp2002, # 2. June 2008, 04:16:45

avatar
and....26.2 miles...how much is it in SI-terms? :eyes:

By MizzMartinez, # 2. June 2008, 04:17:58

avatar
SI???????

By ripp2002, # 2. June 2008, 04:24:50

avatar
Or perhaps it was IS  :right:

International terms! 26.2 miles are...how many kilometres?

By MizzMartinez, # 2. June 2008, 04:27:38

avatar
and what do you mean you wont put it on the video. Why would I write it if you will not put it on the video????? Where is your trust in me :irked:

By ripp2002, # 2. June 2008, 04:28:06

avatar
 go find a web site with a conversation form  gees, do I have to do everything? You might not even use my number if it is too pervy/rippsy  whatever that means

By ripp2002, # 2. June 2008, 04:29:22

avatar
I DO trust you....I was just telling you. Nevermind. Send the lines over!

By MizzMartinez, # 2. June 2008, 04:29:26

avatar
 if you trust me then you shouldnt think I would make them so you would look bad or anything like that. They might be funny though

By ripp2002, # 2. June 2008, 04:33:48

avatar
Just send them over! Okay!?

By MizzMartinez, # 2. June 2008, 04:35:56

avatar
I have not done them yet. It will take time to write the whole thing out...

How long can it be?
Where will you be filming?
What will you be dressed in?

I will need details to write the perfect script

By ripp2002, # 2. June 2008, 04:40:08

avatar
Hahahha...

How long can it be? Max. 10 minutes
Where will you be filming? In the city of Stockholm...outside that is!
What will you be dressed in? We will be wearing a skirt or pair of pants...with a t-shirt/blouse or a dress.

By MizzMartinez, # 2. June 2008, 04:43:09

avatar
 could you be a little more specific??????

I wouldnt want to give you the lines of a cowboy if you are dressed like a parlor maid  What if I give you the lines for a horse racing event but you are standing near a ship yard Homer: Doh! gees!!!

By ripp2002, # 2. June 2008, 04:47:13

avatar
BUT COME ON! Of course I would not be wearing cowboy clothes...nor go to a horse raising (I'm not interested in horses Homer: Doh! )

The area would be near water...or on a green yard. I will personally be wearing a dress. I'm pretty sure Wen will do the same. Okay?

By MizzMartinez, # 2. June 2008, 04:51:22

avatar
26 miles = 42km
As far as I know 1 mile is 1609 meters.

By gdare, # 2. June 2008, 04:59:03

avatar
ok, grass or water wearing "nicer" female cloths...

So one of you could be a 50 year old man cross dresser (hint that would be you... since you are 50) and the other a innocent school girl

By ripp2002, # 2. June 2008, 04:59:23

avatar
Thanks Darko! You've saved my day! p:

Who said that Wen is an innocent school girl? Huh? We've been friends for decades! :D And does age matter if you look good inside? If your purposes are only good? :o:

By MizzMartinez, # 2. June 2008, 05:08:14

avatar
:eyes:

Ok I can honestly say that I dont really understand your comment  I think this is a first

Are you saying Wen isnt an innocent school girl? So what exactly is she?

Age matters if you are good but it doesnt matter if you are bad??????

And age doesnt matter if your purposes are good?????

By ripp2002, # 2. June 2008, 05:12:41

avatar
Hahhaa....I have no idea what I meant...I was trying to be philosophical...and it seems like I succeeded! :headbang:

About Wen...she is of the same age as myself!

By MizzMartinez, # 2. June 2008, 05:19:26

avatar
 you take classes and I assume she does as well since you refered to her going to another university?????? Then she would be a school girl  Doesnt matter the level of school since it is just term.

So you are telling me because of your age you are not innocent and neither is wen? That isnt a very nice thing to say about your friend!!!!

As for you being philosophical; wow, completely greek to me

Muñeco must miss you loads  you could take him to Brazil! :D but I don't believe he could get along with Badik. Badik is too nuts :D And he tries to eat everything that comes ahead him. LOL

Ohh, I love buying books, even if I won't read them! Hehe The fact of having them around makes me happy. I thought you could give them a book, but first you need to know if they like reading and what kind of reading they do. But it's difficult to give another opition to you since you haven't told us anything about them! hehehe Well.. I just read above, they are 50yo. Ok. Ok. My bad! Buy them some flowers or chocolates!! Chocolates are always good presents :D

Ohhh I enjoy watching your show and listening to your sexy voice as well P:

By decaspecht, # 2. June 2008, 14:34:18

avatar
Muñeco is back with me! And I could take him to Brazil...but it would be much more difficult to take him back to Sweden! :frown: I'm pretty sure that there would be nooooo problem at all with Badik! They would bond at once! :D

Books to a couple? NO! There has to be something better..something that would fit in in their married life. A book would not do it? IS the couple 50 yo? :eyes: I wouldn't think so...more likely 26/27 (the guy) and 21/22 (the gal) and their daughter is less than a year old. And no...chocolates are too cheap to be good wedding presents! Homer: Doh!

My sexy voice rocks! :headbang:

By MizzMartinez, # 2. June 2008, 14:42:24

avatar
You are searching for a wedding present? WOW, I do not envy you. I have never been good at that type of thing. I think the typical item just isnt appropriate as a wedding gift and the gift should have meaning for the couple (that way it doesnt find its way back to the store!!!).

By ripp2002, # 2. June 2008, 14:47:30

avatar
The typical item..is it a book? Well, it will be a bit difficult for them to send the present back to the store...since I will be buying it here in Sweden. The only way it could find its way to...is the trash can! :frown:

By MizzMartinez, # 2. June 2008, 14:50:01

avatar
Yeah, travelling with pets is not that easy. You're right.

Where the hell I saw 50yo? P: hehehe I'm not good at buying presents :D

By decaspecht, # 2. June 2008, 14:51:14

avatar
Taking them back to Sweden is NOT easy! :frown:

I don't know...I guess you are getting old André! I expect a good present from you...so you better stop looking! p:

By MizzMartinez, # 2. June 2008, 14:52:46

avatar
typical wedding presents are items of use for the newly married couple. I figure they will get enough toasters etc... in their life. They need something that continues the warmth of their new union. Then again I usually do not go to weddings
