An Embarrassing Moment

Ok. Mom, dad, and grandma got a laugh today, and I'm so embarrassed about it.
I normally chase the cat, Oreo, around the house playing. We spend lots of time with me barking at him behind the couch.
Well, today, he sneaked out from behind the couch on me, and I thought he was still there. I kept trying to figure out how he got under the couch, because I couldn't find him behind it.
Well, mom got smart. She picked me up and took me into grandma's bedroom and showed me that Oreo was in his bed laying down.
When she put me down, I was lost. I was so embarrassed that I paced in front of the couch for a while, then finally came into our room and laid down under mom's chair.
I'm so embarrassed.
How could I not know that the cat wasn't behind or under the couch? He never sneaks away from me. Well, I can't say never anymore. Because he surely did it today.
Boy am I so embarrassed.
