Yes, it is possible launch the torrent automatically. You need a special script.
Steps to get it:
1. Open a terminal
2. Type
Code:sudo gedit /usr/bin/utorrent
3. Paste the following text
Code:#!/bin/sh cd ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/utorrent if [ "$1" != "" ]; then var="`echo $1 | sed 's/\//\\\/g'`" var="Z:${var}" wine utorrent.exe "$var" else wine utorrent.exe fi
Modify the path to the utorrent directory where needed
4. Save and close Gedit
5. Type
Code:sudo chmod a+x /usr/bin/utorrent
You can now launch utorrent from anywhere by typing 'utorrent' (no .exe)
To open .torrents automatically from firefox set the utorrent file as the default program.
Ofcourse it also works with Opera.

okay. now that thats out. Utorrent downloads stuff. It in itself serves no purpose in lauching/playing/burning/doing anything with the content that you download except DOWNLOADING IT. Go find the location where utorrent downloaded the content and do with it, what you will. And DON'T ask me to tell you how to install a game as its pretty well different for anything you could possibly get. If your using linux and you don't know how to install a game, and SOMEHOW you managed to get utorrent working with wine, etc, i honestly don't know what to say to you except what the hell are you doing with wine and linux if you've never even considered using them?!? If your in fact using linux, learn about wine (as i'd imagine your in a predicament of trying to install a random game you just downloaded prior to figuring out whether it'll even RUN on your current setup). They have lots of help on their website.
And, god help us if your using windows and your reading a quick howto for LINUX users and utorrent, GO FIND A WINDOWS FORUM and pleeeeease get flamed WAY more before posting something stupid like that on a LINUX SITE ever AGAIN. I will pray for your survival if that is what this really is, since your lack of management of what you should know is amazing to the linux community.
ps. shouts to the author of this script. utorrent is amazing, its too bad their owners are taking a long ass time coughing up a linux/unix binary when they started in 2007.

How do i open a game file from uTorrent after it has finished downloading? I can't click the 'Open' or the 'Force re-check' when i right-click!

just right click open folder and the game should be there
if it has an iso extension then you need to burn it to disk first otherwise if it is an exe then just double click and it should run.
