Well I've decided to focus on rock music shares here. I realise this is a crowded blog field so the challenge will be to feature stuff that's different and no one else is sharing. So keep watching and we'll see what will eventuate.

Here's a nice album from 1972 on Elektra. Sounding like a combination of Crosby Stills and Nash and America this is a melodic album with good playing and harmonies telling the tale of a trip in a ship. Yes folks its a concept album. Ripped at 192 kps from good quality vinyl.

Here's a double CD set featuring the early work of Jimmy Page and he did have some heavy friends. Thanks to whoever supplied this originally, where I got it from has disappeared in the mists of time. I do have a double CD bootleg of his session work but this is much better quality.
This comes with high quality artwork. Enjoy.

There was a thread on The Groovy Fab Forum as to the best guitarist in the Yardbirds. They had three of the best ever Page, Beck and Clapton. My vote was for good old slowhand and here's proof. Just listen to the first track Crossroads one of the best blues guitar efforts ever. Clapton is at his best live as this set proves. This is of the best quality and sounds as good as the official live album.

Here's my first exclusive post to this blog Ambrosia's very fine second album Somewhere I've Never Travelled. From my own LP rip this is an Alan Parson's produced extravaganza. Dating from 1976 the production values are out of this world and if you like Yes, Kansas etc you'll love this.

To start I'll feature stuff I've already shared on my other blogs and after that I'll look at new shares.

Here's a couple of albums by those masters of sunshiny pop the Association: the well named Waterbeds in Trinidad and Live.

Here's an album I posted back in the ancient days of Planet Xtabay just after it had dragged itself from the primordial ooze of Blogdom. Its a compilation I made of Les' stuff he recorded with 101 Strings and there's some worthwhile tracks here. This was very popular at the time and I'm sure there's a new batch of people who will find this an interesting download. The cover picture is for decoration purposes only.

Here's the 'other' Zounds What Sounds courtesy of Bellybongo who no longer has it available. Not as essential as the other one in my opinion but still pretty interesting. See what you think.
