Mr Leffe The Landseer

Some do have a hard time landing

The sun , The Moon and the sky on fire

At first I was going for practising macro photography.
I had to change planes fast.

When I came to my favourite spot I was met by a gigant in the sky

Yes I got one macro

And when I turned around The giant was growing.

This meant running. Well so was the giant.

I got inside just in time.

My husband came home we decided to follow the cloud. And no more words I get carried away.
Because the sky is on fire

Turning around , there is the moon looking at the sun from this very big purple sky.

And the sun is saying good night.

I love Macro, small things Macro , macro, macro

You are welcome
What lenses did you use for the moon picture?

MrLeffe 6. October 2009, 20:39

I have got a Canon Powershot SX200 IS Compact camera and I did Zoom it as far as I could (48 digital zoom) and I used a tripod for that shot. I guess I was a bit lucky

Oh, Leffe! These are superb!

And may I say how lucky you are to have a life partner who understands your need to do such things as chase a storm. If you were Irish, you could call him "anam cara", "soul friend".

And this camera ... well, I have been looking at the descriptions, and I think it is a difficult camera to use for macro, mostly because of the difficulty of seeing the subject. Without a viewfinder, your only way is to look at the LCD screen, which may be big enough, but most of them can't be seen very well, if there is much ambient light. And (this is personal to me) I find that the need for spectacles when looking at these little screens causes me endless trouble. I don't need them for the object itself, nor do I need them for a viewfinder, because there is diopter correction in the viewfinder. I hope this isn't too discouraging, but your older camera seems more useful in this context.

Thank you so much dW. Yes I am very lucky. My husband begin to think this is exiting, never knowing where we are going.:D :D

Thank you so much for these words I was almost going crazy, with pictures that really are not macros in the way I was use to.
My old camera unfortunately is no longer working It really had a nice macro function. So far I will do the best I can for the little things.

Konica Dimage A200 ... See if you can get it repaired. Some people still do things like that, and that camera is definitely a quality piece of equipment.

MrLeffe 7. October 2009, 06:45

Thank you I will try. The sad thing is they say there are no spare part for Dimage A200. So I am not so lucky in that part.
But I will sure try.

Write to the company ... I'm still using a Nakamichi CD player that I bought in 1991 ... and no dealers have parts. But Nakamichi does.

MrLeffe 7. October 2009, 16:03

I will try that thank you so much dW
