Cold days

Walks
I solv a lot of things walking
and now orientation is on my mind
To find the best and nices roads.

I found the ligh low and I felt like
no options.

This beautiful park will be well visited in spring.

A little bit of sun...

Sometimes we go out and we have no destination.
Only the question.. Where does this road go?
Strong sunshine, -17 degrees, the sky is altering depending on our direction. The only cold day
we have had this winter. The layer of snow is almost nothing.
Memories from childhood coming and going

The long distance, open landscape, smaller than a town, bigger than a village.
An important railroad with connections to the rest of our country and europe.

The very countryside... a farm in the middle of somewhere, the distance between
the houses .. long distance ...

I remember leaving home early in the morning as a schoolkid at winter walking
to the busstop where the schoolbus picked us up all in the dark. After school
the very same darkness. Walking home, making up stories scaring ourselves
with ghoststories. No more than 8 years old..

I am standing looking for a while Freedom ...

We find ourselves in the middle of all "drumlines" The landscape has been shaped
by the Last Ice age. And the sea..
An Old schoolhouse ...

Our churches are hidden behind big big trees ....

Very soon it is time to go home ... and I am waiting for a special moment

We are now going home, warming up.
I will make the mittens that dW have told me about.
I think I need them.

Good idea to show the photos in black and white while expecting the sun!

Orlando I can understand you very well and this light we have only for a very short period of time in January and February
When the sun returns and stay for longer hours but still very low in the sky. This in combination with very cold air. The temperature need to drop to below -10 degrees It is amazing these days the light is playing really. One day is not like the day before. In March the sun will reach high and this effect is gone.
