Palm Sunday

Today is a Palm Sunday. This is very old Christian's feast. It is always one Sunday before Easter. This feast commemorates the Triumphal Entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. This day we are going to churches with self-made 'Easter Palms'. Sometimes they are very original and beauty :smile:

Traditional Easter Palms are made with twigs of a willow. This is a symbol of a resurrection and immortality of soul. Then we use paints and many others decorations like flowers and fillets to make our palms beautiful :smile: In many cities there are contests of the most beautiful Easter Palms.
In the church the priest hollows them. This tradition is known in Poland from the Middle Ages.

What do you do on Easter to celebrate it? I heard that decorating eggs is one of the customs? (from the latest South Park S11:psmurf:)
