Goals for this year for exercise

,

At the momement I am only capable of doing 300 press ups in a day
Be able to do 350 press ups
Be able to do 400 press ups
Be able to do 500 press ups
I believe that I can achieve the above goals but they may take a while to achieve.

At the moment I can jog a mile in 8 minutes. A year ago it took me 12 minutes to run a mile and I was always out of breath. I think at best I could achieve a 6 minute mile. The mile is downhill so its not the same as a straight mile.
running a mile in 7 minutes
running a mile in 6 minutes
running a mile in 5 minutes
get as close to a 4 minute mile as possible.
Do I think I could actually run a 4 minute mile no I doubt I will even get close but I have set it as a goal in the hope that it will spur me on to run as fast as possible.

Whats the point of all this well I want to be as fit and strong as I can possibly be.

New phone

,

My current phone a Nokia 6700 is okay but it got water damaged accidently a month ago. Somehow it survived but hasnt been working well since it happened. When it happened I realised I needed a new phone so I decided to buy a new phone. The phone I bought is a Nokia E5 it is amazing and works great and also very cheap. The Nokia E5 has great battery life, has amazing sound quality, incredibly fast internet speed and a lot of other great features.

My 22nd birthday

In a month and 2 weeks it will be my 22nd birthday and I am looking forward to it a lot. My plans for my birthday are to get drunk and spend lots of time with my friends. I am surprised that time has gone so quickly and that so much has changed. I am doing really at the moment and hope life continues to go well for me

Downloaded new Opera mobile browser

Just downloaded Opera mini 6 on my mobile phone and have to say it is an amazing browser. Its far better than Opera mini 5. Its design and layout feels a lot easier to browse around the transition feels smoother as well. I haven't decided if its better than Opera mini 4 but to me its better than the other mobile browsers. It is a massive step in the right direction towards a better browsing experience.

New year, whole new beginning

This year is a fresh new start at life for me. I started the year well I have a job and my own place to live which I have been at for about 7 months. A lot has changed in such a short period of time for me. I spent nearly all of my life looking down feeling that I had no future. Now I look up and see that I have a future that I can make my life good. I am happy with the way things are now and I hope they stay that way.

That unexplained bad feeling-explained

, , ,

Ever had that strange feeling that something bad was about to happen and then it happened well heres a very complicated answer. On days that something bad is about to happen we get bad feelings and feel sick and sad and depressed. When the event happens we are shocked to the core because somehow we knew that it was going to happen. Michael Drosnin wrote a book called the bible code which said that hidden codes are in the bible about future events. A few years later several people found they could find the same hidden codes in other normal everyday books. If most books can be translated to reveal future events and past events then perhaps all knowledge of these events is imprinted onto the human subconsciousness and kept hidden. Basically this might account for every vision, deja vu and feeling that something might happen. Nostradamus is proof that this is real and that the secrets can be unlocked. Humans only use roughly 2% of their brain perhaps some of the other 98% is ultimate knowledge.

Object in sky near the moon

,

I have seen a rather strange cool unknown object near the moon for the past few months. Its incredibly bright and I would estimate a fifth of the size of the moon. It follows the orbit of the moon starting low and ending high in the sky. It gets brighter every time I see it and also appears alot larger.

2 year anniversery at my opera

Been on the my.opera.com website for 2 years now. I have seen this website flourish. Its number of members has grown massively. It has become a very diverse community. I have been as active as possible. I have tried to help as many people as I can. I hope I have contributed to the my opera community. I have enjoyed being here and loved the chance to become part of the community.

Burnley footbal club match

,

On Saturday 25th September 2010 I went to Turf Moor with my friend to watch the Burnley vs Bristol City match. It was the first time that I was going to see a football match at a football ground. The first thing we did was go to the Turf Moor leisure centre, where we were given a tour of the stadium. We went to the trophy room first. We walked slowly round two of the stands at the pitch. The guide showed us around inside giving us a brief history and showing us the hall of fame. We then went on to the press area where interviews are done and thats where the tour ended so we left the stadium it was a great experience.

One hour and a half later we headed back to Turf Moor to see the match. I was nervous, excited and a little bit scared. I have seen football games on tv but never felt them to be that exciting. My friend had been to watch Burnley before so he knew where the seats would be and where to go which I was thankful for. We got to our seats, realised we had arrived 30 minutes early and relaxed in the seats. I was happy because we were sat close to the pitch. I looked to the massive tv screen and it showed the welcome to Turf Moor logo. 20 minutes later the screen began showing the vintage and best bits of burnley footage. I waited in anticipation and excitement. People began to clap as the teams walked onto the pitch and the announcer said the lineup. The players names appeared on the screen. The game started. The energy in the stadium felt electric and it was a good feeling. Bristol City appeared to be doing possible diving and handballing I cant be certain but many people in the stadium agreed and screamed handball but the referee either didn't notice or disagreed with the opinion and when the opposition was awarded a freekick people said boo quite loudly. Burnley was awarded a penalty at the 24-25th minute but sadly it did not go in the net. Burnley had some great shots which were either saved or sadly missed the net. Bristol City weren't on form and Burnley should have scored a few goals but Bristol did have a really great goal keeper in the net David James who played very well. Burnley played great. The match ended as a draw. The whole experience was truly amazing.

New mobile phone

I have been wanting to buy this mobile phone for ages so I bought it a few days ago. Its a Nokia 6700 slide. I am a big fan of Nokias but a bit wary of slide phones after my encounter with the dreaded SE C905. It is an absolutely amazing phone. It was cheap to buy and it is very high tech so well worth the money. The camera gives excellent pics its 5 megapixel. The internet speed is very fast the first thing I downloaded was Opera mini. The sound is great. Its very easy to use and can multitask. The only bad thing is that the top three keys are just above the slide so typing can be slower. It has alot of great features. Overall the phone is brilliant and a lot better than my previous phone which I still have

Life at the moment

, , ,

Okay so the last month has been really hectic and alot of things have changed in my life. The changes have definitely been for the better. I have gone from being in a hostel to getting a flat of my own. That probably doesn't sound like much but believe me it is. For the first time in my life I am finally fully independant and I love it. My flat is quite big and I have put alot of things into it. I still need quite a few items for it but with abit of time I will be able to get those. My flat is starting to take shape and when I am done will look really nice. I am trying really hard to get my life on track. I am slowly becoming more healthier with each passing day, I am now walking alot further than I used to and have recently taken up running. Very recently I bought a laptop and it is awesome it is a IBM (now Lenovo) Thinkpad T42 its quiet and fast and works great. Most of the time I will be using it to write stories. My dream job is to become a published writer so I hope that I can achieve that using my new laptop. I feel like my life is starting to get better.

Things I bought

, ,

Last Friday I decided to buy some things for when I had a bit of free time. I looked around the local shops. It turned out to be a very busy day. I bought 2 books, 3 films, 4 Muse cds, a Muse dvd and a Muse poster. Afterwards I was walking past a games shop and decided to look inside. It was there that I saw a gameboy and a gameboy game called pokemon blue. I used to have a gameboy about 9-10 years ago and regretted selling it and at the time pokemon blue was one of my favourite games so I bought them

My new flat

,

On wednesday I got some more furniture for my new flat which was fairly cheap but looked nice. The flats starting to take shape and has got most of the furniture it needs. There are still some things I do need to get but what I currently have will do for now. I am surprised at how fast I have managed to sort out the flat and the time its taken has been really quick.

Moving into my new flat

On monday I began moving into my new flat. I don't exactly have much so I am starting from scratch. For me this is new and at some points slightly overwhelming. I never realised how much hard work was involved. For the first two days I didn't have a bed so I made do and slept on a cold hard laminate floor which obviously is not at all comfy and not what it was made for so I haven't had much sleep. Today I was kindly given a mattress so now I will be able to sleep well. Its great finally having my own place

Moving to a new place

, ,

In a week I will be moving into a flat it will be the first time I have had my own place I am very excited and also a bit nervous. Quite a lot has changed in the last four months first I moved out of my dads due to violence and constant arguments I nearly became homeless but then got put into a hotel for three days and then finally moved to a hostel where I am now I didnt like the idea of a hostel to begin with but then realised its a really amazing place full of great people.

R.I.P Nokia N79

I went to the T-mobile shop on monday to see if my phone had come back from the repair centre and it had but sadly not fixed. I was told it was damaged beyond repair and to fix it would cost the value of my phone. My heart sank, I was devastated the Nokia N79 was the best phone I have ever had and it worked flawlessly. What on the surface looked like a small problem was actually the Nokias achilles heel. I had the phone for about 10 months problem free. My new Alcatel phone is nearly as good but not quite.

Browsing with my new phone

, , ,

Browsing the internet with my new phone the Alcatel OT 800 (One Touch Tribe) is amazing its inbuilt web browser is Opera mini 4.2 which saved me time downloading it smile it seems to function alot better and quicker than my Nokia N79 not just that it loads the pages smoother as well. The Alcatel OT 800s internet browsing speed is very fast quite similar to my Nokia N79s speed. I have yet to come across a page it cannot load. Opera once again proving their standards and quality are high smile

New phone

, ,

My Nokia N79 broke on friday so I took it to be repaired and was told it would take three weeks so I decided to get another phone. On saturday I found the perfect phone I wanted so I bought the phone its called the Alcatel OT 800 (One Touch Tribe). It has the appearance of a Blackberry phone. It has a Qwerty keypad with a two megapixel camera. Its an amazing phone and works great and I got 6 months free unlimited internet with it. The phone was very cheap to buy. I can't believe I was so lucky to get it.

Strange animal behaviour

, ,

This week I have noticed some slightly unusual behaviour from a few animals in particular ducks. Around the area I live ducks are hardly ever seen in town and theres one simple reason for that they stick to the canal waterways usually they just swim about not a care in the world but seeing ducks on the canal is a rarity for me now they seemed to have gone elsewhere and this week I found out where. It seems like they have moved into town and made it their terrotery they walk about in twos and don't make a sound. I walked up to two pairs of them my appearance didnt bother them at all they just carry on. Usually I get fairly close then they get scared and fly off. It is usual for pigeons to stay in the town scrounging for food and now ducks are starting to do the same.
