On Days Like Today...

Howdy all, I wrote a new little ditty on Sunday afternoon. It was a perfect day, so the song flowed from my brain to paper to guitar to microphone in about an hour. I still need to practice on my editing and mixing. This sounds pretty cool on headphones though.. My favorite part is at the end where you can hear the cicadas buzzing in the background. I should have faded out on that, but oh well. Fuck it, enjoy.

I like the cicadas at the end. A happy accident. We don't have cicadas up here in the u.p., and at times I miss them. When I was growing up we had a cat who liked to eat them.
