Not all of us played Game & Watch when the series came out, but most of us know it thanks to Smash Bros. Brawl. And many of us drooled over the recently-released, Club-Nintendo-only Game & Watch DS cartridge, featuring the work of Game Boy creator, Gunpei Yokoi. Now, we can drool over the impending release of the games on DSi Ware. But there's a catch: it's Japan only (once again).
The titles will go for 200 Nintendo points each, and the roster includes 9 titles (although the fact that the series has way more titles than that doesn't close the possibility of having more games come out, soon). Save one of the games (Judge), the titles are single player games. Full release list after the break.

I don't know about you, but I'm tired of small, expensive peripherals that do nearly nothing and are only used in a handful of games (zapper, DS walk sensor, Wii wheel, any Wii Sports plastic add-on...). Do you agree with Reginald on this one? I don't.
In an interview with NowGamer, Capcom producer Masachika Kawata teased the possibility of a Wii edition of Resident Evil 5. However, he does ditch the idea first.
Hypothetically speaking, the Resident Evil 4 engine would work perfectly for replicating the gameplay but we would never be able to recreate the graphical quality. A gun shooting game like Darkside Chronicles makes much more sense for Wii so, in short, Resident Evil 5 Wii Edition isn't likely to happen. Having said that, Cavia [the developer] has surprised us with the quality of graphics in Darkside Chronicles, so it may actually be possible after all…"
Way back in 1987 and amid the hype caused by a certain plumber, a winged kid made its debut. Now, the franchise enjoys a cult following and it is one of the most awaited IPs on the Wii. We are referring to, of course, Kid Icarus.
However, and as you might have noticed, the game has been taunted at and promised for many E3, and this last iteration it wasn't even mentioned at all. Nintendo Power also noticed this and asked Miyamoto about it. Here's what he had to say.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you know that I have taken some of the photos I took in Animal Crossing and cut them to perfect size to use as MyOpera avatars! As everyone should be able to guess, the avatar I am using is actually my character from the game; I designed a Star Trek shirt, blue style (science), and cut my hair like Spock . The new movie is totally rad. I also got my character to look angry in the picture.
I compiled a Avatars.zip file for you all to download that has some characters ready to go (none of them are me don't worry; they are all villiagers). I wanna see more than just Animal Crossing though! Enplussers, I challenge you all to come up with the coolest Nintendo avatars!
Get your blood ready, kids! Pharmaceutical giant, Bayer, has come up with Didget, a new DS gadget that will not only serve as a glucose meter, but also as a gaming peripheral that will allow kids to earn in-game rewards and unlock new levels by getting regularly tested.
The game/peripheral claims to have a fast response analysis, up to 480 samples memory, small blood sample size, and standard glucose info (mostly for parents and doctors to interpret).
So get those fingers ready to get pinched and tested!
Yep, that's me with my brand new Hotdog Hat! And yes, that is a dog eyeing it down... It's the current downloadable content item for the Animal Crossing on Wii (July 4th - July 18th). I guess since it's a North American distribution that makes it only for City Folk, and not Lets Go to the City players

Did you like No More Heroes, one of the 'hardcore' pioneers on the Wii? Are you desperately struggling to keep yourself together until No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle comes out? Well, we hope you really enjoy Suda's second installment on the series, for it is the last one to show up on Wii. Ever.
According to an IGN interview, Goichi Suda has made it quite clear that he has every intention of making the No More Heroes franchise a big one... he just has no intention on doing so on the Wii.
I really want to make NMH big franchise, and with this second episode have bigger success. I'm putting a lot of care into developing this IP, as I feel there's a lot of potential. I think this is the last NMH that is going to be developed on Wii. To expand NMH to new possibilities, we need a new platform. It's the Beastie Beastie Beastie Beastie Bros gettin' live on the spot, puttin' all kinds of shame in the game you got! So this month's design reflects absolutely no particular game release, it just celebrates the Mario Brothers, and is a sneaky way to get another passion of mine into the scene, The Beastie Boys! They've got a new album coming out called "The Hot Sauce Committee", and they are touring in Europe (and hopefully North America) for it, so I am pumped!
When the best (three) MC's (and one DJ) in Hip-Hop mash up with the best brothers in gaming you get the Beastie Bros. I have this insanely over-sized poster in my bedroom of, from left to right, "AdRock" "MCA" and "Mike D". The poster is related to the record "Licensed To Ill" - however I cannot find it anywhere on the net! I think I may have a super collectible here. Anyway I hope you dig the new look, it's doubly fun for me this month. We of course have a Beastie Bros Wallpaper for you. It was a very difficult decision whether or not to go black and white to stick with the original source poster, but I decided for it. The original design was in color!
