We arrive at night so we only had time to make a walk though the city and border the lake. Actually we were lucky and we saw the sound and water show in the lake. And when we start to watch it a smile start to fake in our faces. It was just the same show at the Seville Expo'92. Hehe seems that the Chinese copy worked fine. They even start the show with Spanish music.

And the next day we went to gardens surrounding the Western Lake and we even took a ship for a small round. by the way, We found what looked a cayman inside the pools of the garden. Well, actually we couldn't see it but because the move and the color... So be careful if you get close to them.
After that we went to the Soul's Retreat Temple where many Buddhas are sculpt on the rock. Real nice place.
and from there to the six harmonies Pagoda where we climbed all the 200 something steps straight to the top. And after that we visit the gardens on the hill that surrounds the pagoda with bonsais and recreations of temples of all over China.
About the city, in all guides actually talk about it as a small town but what a big megalopolis of 6 millions. I make a picture from my room (on the 25 floor) and it was just city till the end of you could reach with your eyes. Wow. And as a funny thing, the motorcycle for old people. My father will simply love it
And from here we took the bus to the next big city, Suzhou.
