flashes from my spare time

Shanghai 2010

, , , , ,

We arrive to Shanghai through the bullet train. It wasn't that fast since we used the normal rail (the high speed one is under construction) but even with that we reach the 200 something.

As soon as we arrive we went to the port to take a ship round the Shanghai bay. The day was foggy and even with light rain but the view was simply amazing.

And just after that we went to the old city to see the gardens of the Mandarin YuYuan. What we have here is just a fraction but just impresive. Like them.

The Jade Buddha Temple was the next stop. This Buddha was bring from Burma to Shanghai in 1882. Is the biggest Buddha statue in jade. It was nice also the contrast between the old architecture and the new high city.

In here I bought my bell to fix at my backpack in all the tracks I do.

And of course we visit the pedestrian street of Nanjing and the People's Plaza. So big. Looked sometimes to New York. Just impresive.

And well, That's all folks.
Quite a pity but all good times comes to an end just to start better ones of course... cool

so CU on newer and greater adventures.
