I spend all my time wondering if am living up to the expectations of the people in my life, wondering if am a gud wife, if am a gud mom, if am a gud friend,neighbour,collegue...the list is endless. Am kinda exhausted, i wish i could get away for jst a weekend & be with me,myself & I for once in my life.

Am tired of ths on & off relationship, a few months we've broken up, a few months later we r back again, ths is takin all of my energy, draining me, sucking me dry.

I have this great urge 2 leave this country & go somewhere so far away to some other continent, not to look for greener pastures but to get away from my past, i happen to have so many skeletons hanging in my closet, too much hurt & betrayal. Am only 22yrs old but you'd think am 44!! This really sucks.

Q]. Why is it that when someone wrongs you its such a big deal but when you wrong someone you just don't get why they are making such a fuss about it? A]. You are selfish. Especially in a relationship when your partner does something wrong to you, 'how could you do this to ME' its what you ask, sometimes we even end our relationships because someone hurt u just a little bit, now thats selfish. We hate to admit it but the truth is we are all selfish. When someone wrongs us lets stop acting like we ourselves are angels & have never wronged a single soul. Talk to someone let them know they've wronged you, sort it out instead of making it seem like they've made the world come to a halt. Have a realistic day, won't u!

There r those days when u wake up on the wrong foot, when u just can't seem to find your keys & you r running late, when coffee spills on your suit, when someone down the street accidentally steps on your poor toes, when its a rainy morning & a car splashes dirty water all over u as it passes by, when u get late to work & your boss coincidentally woke up on the wrong foot too, when everything seems to just go wrong.. What a day! Yesterday I had one of those days.

I dont understand how time goes by so fast, it seems like just a few years ago I was 10years old and now am more than the double of that! It makes me a little scared bcoz sum1 once told me that from the moment we are born we start counting our minutes to our deaths, get it? Oh thats scary, we all walk around acting as if we are going to live forever, oh yeah u know exactly what am talking about, dont u? Well atleast a few of us are wise enough to know we aren't going to live forever. Anyway i was talking about the time that has slipped through my fingers, i feel like i've been in a coma for like 10years bcoz i cant seem to understand how my days went by so fast. Does anyone else feel like time is slipping silently away? Its not untill its on your birthday that you start thinking hey am an year older! Am no longer sweet 16 am now 17, or am no longer in my 30's am now 40years old! Atleast i know i dread old age. Would you rather die young or die in old age abandoned in an old people's home bcoz you simply can't take care of yourself? Take a pick....

Lots of people ask 'how do I know that someone is the one when I meet him/her?' Movies have played a big role in leading us to believe that the first time u'll meet the great love of your life; (1) Time will stop & everything will be in slow motion. (2) Sudenly light wind will blow through your hair. (3) You'll start feeling butterflies in your stomach. (4)He/She will smile at you, make a move & the next thing you find yourself preparing for the first perfect date. (5) During the first kiss u'll float away & there will be smooth music playing in the background while you brace yourselves to make passionate love all night long. (ok I've ran out of the movies romantic ideas). My friends it doesn't happen that way, the difference between your life & a movie is that in a movie there is the "cut" part & the "action" part, but in your life the "action" part begun when you were born & you took your first breath, while the "cut" part will be the moment you'll take your last breath. Am only trying to tell you to keep your options open if you are looking for 'the one' to spend the rest of your life with & have lovely babies with. For starters 'the one' might be the person you are with right now, yes he/she is not perfect, no one is? Are you? My guess would be NO. 'The one' for you is probably right infront of you but you can't see it because your sight is elsewhere looking for the "hollywood Mr/Miss right". Come on be realistic atleast for once in your life. Am not a relationship expert but believe me I have experience because am married to 'the one', the great love of my life. Sometimes we fight really bad but we always find a way out of it because our love is real & we were meant to be. I hope my opinion of love will be helpfull to some of you. Ciao.
