Torrent-machine, read-. D'uh. I will be playing this as well.

Dark FurieFurie Thursday, March 31, 2011 12:25:11 AM

Already on my list of must haves. Four person co-op - check. Level up system for skills and discernable character classes - check. Free roaming open world island full of zombies, mutants, weapons to use and create as well as hundreds of sidequests - check. Ultimate zombie game meets hugely detailed RPG with co-op. It was tailor made for me it seems.

They even took some of my design requirements on board like having to clear safehouses before you can use them and other survivors bringing useful skills and abilities to the fold (some provide vehicles, others can make weapons stronger in the crafting system, others still will know of safehouses the player doesn't).

Aadil I posted this a while back and it looks sweet. Was already being hunted by movie executives due to the awesome trailer despite it not being representative how the game plays. It's for 360 and PC, possibly PS3 too.

Andy, they almost went out of business creating this. Please pay for it when it's out.

Alexodius PrimeAleksOD Thursday, March 31, 2011 12:35:22 AM

Wow... Is that in-game graphics?

Dark FurieFurie Thursday, March 31, 2011 12:37:25 AM

Cut scene. Graphics are good though. They've got a multi-layer damage system in place for zombies which should do wonders for immersion.

Dustin WilsonKhadgar Thursday, March 31, 2011 12:56:17 AM

Brilliant. It's like bacon.

d4rkn1ght Thursday, March 31, 2011 1:30:41 AM

Love it! headbang

Mad Scientistqlue Thursday, March 31, 2011 2:11:32 AM

add to shopping list, one 360 and one copy death island. party.
I won't bother with the PC version because my 'pc' just isn't a gaming machine, even if I put Windoze on it, I won't be able to play any trully awesome games on it. left.

Something I will be looking into, nonetheless.

BulbasaurJetPackBulbasaur Wednesday, April 6, 2011 2:09:55 AM

Wouldn't this be just like every other zombie game, but with a few little girls added?

Developers have a habit of making trailers that have nothing to do with how the game plays.

I'm not into the shooter/Zombie genres at all. But if they made something like the Battle Royale novel.. Oh lord.

Mad Scientistqlue Wednesday, April 6, 2011 7:02:16 AM

this is more of an RPG as I understand it. up.
You'll maybe like it. left

BulbasaurJetPackBulbasaur Wednesday, April 6, 2011 9:40:56 AM

I haven't got the patience for RPG's! The only exception is Pokemon.

I usually just play Platoformers and Fighters. Some favorites are BlazBlue, Guilty Gear, Tekken and Bloody Roar. For platformers.. The entires Megaman franchise, a load of GBA/DS games (most recent one is Monster Tale) and something which I just bought recently is "Moon Diver".

Alexodius PrimeAleksOD Wednesday, April 6, 2011 2:14:25 PM

Moon Diver looks good. I think at this point the only platformer I like is GTA Chinatown Wars for DS.

Mad Scientistqlue Wednesday, April 6, 2011 2:24:33 PM

Well I'm not a 'gamer' as such. The only hands I play on my netbook are old C=64 games. And I haven't even installed VICE since Maverick came out. left.
And it's nearly time for Natty. partyyes.

Dark FurieFurie Sunday, September 4, 2011 11:30:17 PM

Ah, there it is. Just so you know, this game is out next week and is looking extra cool with each showing.

KarenNerak Monday, September 5, 2011 4:18:55 AM

Awesome! Thanks for the heads up! yes I still cannot wait to play it.

Mad Scientistqlue Monday, September 5, 2011 10:50:45 PM

party.
Now which machine to buy for it? sherlock.

Dark FurieFurie Tuesday, September 6, 2011 7:31:41 AM

What ya got?

Mad Scientistqlue Tuesday, September 6, 2011 1:47:36 PM

a Linux netbook. left.

Dark FurieFurie Wednesday, September 7, 2011 12:34:05 PM

In your mind then. up

Mad Scientistqlue Wednesday, September 7, 2011 2:30:47 PM

confused.
This game can be bought for a variety of different consoles. But which console is best for this, specific game Mik? sherlock.
(consider that the console will be bought together with the game and for the specific purpose of playing this game.)

Dark FurieFurie Wednesday, September 7, 2011 3:59:25 PM

None. No game is alone worth the price of a game and I wouldn't feel comfortable giving you a name that you'd make that decision based on. I'll tell you what I've heard but make sure you seek other opinions too as some reviews hated the game and some hardware had real problems running it.

By all accounts the Xbox 360 version is a bit more stable than the PS3 version (PC trumps both in this case) but the textures are sometimes slow to load in on the 360 version. All of them are as glitchy as can be expected with an open world game, but the gameplay is solid - a good 30 hours or so. Look for my review in the coming week or so.

I think you need to be a really hardcore gamer to go that far. scared.
Maybe I should just get a really snazzy laptop for gaming? sherlock.
What would a gaming laptop need? left.

or your making a super computer....

Mad Scientistqlue Wednesday, September 7, 2011 10:49:22 PM

Nah. For that you'd use four PS3's and leave out the XBox altogether.

Of course, you'd have to hack your PS3 to re-enable the 'Other OS' feature, but that's a purely academic exercise since the PS3 was cracked. p.
