My Mom, Jameson, Lonnie, and I ventured to Hillsboro yesterday so that Mom could renew her Costco membership card. While wandering around Costco, I eventually made my way over to the bakery department. They have all sorts of fattening treats there. One thing in particular caught my eye, though...


The moment I saw these Snickerdoodle cookies (you can click the pic to make it bigger), I thought of Carol. heart My nickname for her is "Snickerdoodle" and she calls me "Special K".

I know you've been going through so much pain and medical crap for such a long time now, Carol. I just wish there was some way I could take it all away. I hope, though, that knowing I was thinking about you while out and about will help...even if only a tiny bit! I pray for you all the time. I will never give up hope that you will live a pain-free and happy life - where you are treated as the amazingly kind, generous, and wonderful woman that you are!
