Lonnie went out to run some errands today. Since I'm not fully healed yet and totally over-did it on Saturday when we went shopping, I was left with no choice but to stay home. Though it may sound pathetic to some, Lonnie and I are accustomed to being together 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, so when one of us goes away for any length of time, we really miss each other.

Like I said, it might seem pathetic and needy to some, but we just love each other so much and get along that well.

Wellllll, when my amazing hubby returned home from his errand running this afternoon, he handed me a little package. I had zero clue what it was - thought maybe he got me a pack of gum or something. (I'm a gum-a-holic) I opened the package up and found the sweetest, prettiest heart-shaped necklace that you see pictured below.

I think the following song expresses my feelings perfectly,

This picture does not do it justice. It's so much more sparkly and pretty.

He spoils me in all the right ways.

On a side note...the Link with the cupcake shield was another gift from Lonnie. He'd sent me a link to a website of cupcake recipes and I told him, "If you have any more cupcake links, please send 'em my way!" Before I knew it, he'd Photoshopped Link holding his shield with a big cupcake on it.

He emailed it to me and the email said, "Here's the cupcake Link that you requested, Baby!"

So silly...but also so sweet.

I also like to decorate mini Post-It notes and hide them allll over the place so Lonnie will sporadically find them. Like on the back of his deodorant, inside his shoe, in a book he refers to often, in the package of cookies he's been recently snacking on, etc. Sometimes I hide them in places that I know he won't find them for a really long time. Like...in the pocket of his winter coat in the middle of summer, inside one of the fingers of his gloves, etc. I keep him guessing.

I think he enjoys in, but also gets annoyed that I use up all the Post-It notes constantly.
