Thanks, Carol...Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you as well. Sunny & my Mom are both pretty artistic. Then again, so am I...not saying I'm great at it or anything, but being artsy-fartsy definitely runs in the family. At least the female side.



Kimmie: All of those nutcracker thingies seem a bit freaky to me. My Mom LOVES them, but they kinda trip me out. Like they're just waiting for the right moment to eat'cher eyeballs or something.

The cats actually get their own gifts...and we kinda have them open them by themselves, even. I'll video tape it this Christmas. One year a few years back, we couldn't afford a whole lot, so we skipped cat gifts. Araya (my spoiled kitty) literally threw a fit. She was running around the house yelling and then she'd hide and pout. Lesson learned! Now, even if we can't really afford it, we'll get them each something small just so they don't feel left out.

I think you're right. She's so much like me it's frightening.

I promise to tape the cat gift opening thing! Watching them get excited when they know it's their turn cracks me up. My cat is way more out-going and stuff, so she gets really into it. Lonnie's cat is far more timid, so if she realizes that you're watching her too much, she does the whole run & hide routine. Either way, there will be some shredded gift wrap from kitty paws!

I only mentioned one thing I painted, so you won't know which things I did or didn't do. I'm stealthy like that. I prefer to give credit to others rather than myself. The one Santa was my only exception.

I just finished hanging lights around the sliding glass door and the front window. Tomorrow my Mom and I are going to dig into another huge tub of Christmas stuff and do more decorating. We still have bedrooms and bathrooms to decorate.

Yes, my Mom lives with us again - and it is NOT a stupid question!

Hmmm...I'm gonna break my foot off in her keister if she doesn't get better about returning people's emails. She does it to everyone and then they ask me if she's mad at them. She's not...she's just lazy with emailing.
