This is absolutely humiliating, but I've got no other choice. My family and I are in absolute dire need of help, and we honestly have no place to turn.  I just created an account over at Fundable.com which explains everything in detail.  Like I said - I'm humiliated...as is Lonnie.

I know we've had rough times in the past and a couple of my friends stepped up to help us out. I can't even express how much that meant/means to me...to us. Well, this time is worse than any other time we've had...EVER.  We've never been this bad off in our lives, and we simply don't know what else to do.  So, please check out our account over at Fundable. Even if you're not able to help financially, a prayer, a good vibe...anything positive will help.

(One last thing - I know I'm always on here joking around and having a good old time, so it might be hard for some people to believe that we're actually going through all of this...but I'm very good at hiding things. Especially things that I find to be absolutely humiliating. The last thing I ever want to be is a burden to anyone, ya' know?)

I just tried to message someone to ask if
they mind if I add them to my friend list,
and I got this horrible message...

How many messages are allowed in a 24 hour period?
Is there any way to have that limit increased?
I mean really...it's become quite evident that
I need a bit more leeway with this whole limit thing.
I babble way more than the average person.

Mods? Any mods out there?

Dear District Attorney,

As you are well aware, the day after Valentines day, Kenny Glenn, a teenager from Lawton, OK, posted two videos on youtube with graphic and disturbing images of him abusing an innocent cat.
The Video shows him (under the pseudonym Timmy) and his brother abusing their cat. The video lasts over one minute, and shows the cat being thrown on the wall, and punched numerous times. You can hear throughout the video the loud and heartbreaking cries of the little innocent cat trying to escape torture.
While we do appreciate the fact that the Sheriff's Department has arrested him and his brother (camera man on the video), we are deeply concerned that this teenager, clearly a sociopath, will be released with a slap on the wrist. We understand he has been released to his parents custody, and that the poor cat, Dusty, is under care of a Vet for the duration of the investigation.
We animal lovers and conscious citizens write to you to demand Kenny Glenn to be tried as an adult and receive proper punishment for such de****able crime. We need to believe in justice - we have our voices, but animals like Dusty don't. We hope you will come through.

I have not personally watched the video. Simply reading the description was enough for me to nearly break down and cry. The video has been pulled from YouTube, but there are evidently other places on the Net where you can find it. I don't know why anyone would want to watch such a thing, but if you decide to, PLEASE do not come back here with any further description. My little heart cannot take any more.

While I was browsing around the Net a little while ago, I came across this award thingy called The Crunchies. I have no idea what even led me to that page, but I'm certainly glad I found it. After reading up on it, I wrote to our dear Opera friend, Espen and asked him if he knew anything about it and if it'd be alright to nominate My.Opera for this thing. He wrote back in an impressively speedy fashion and told me that I can feel free to nominate My.Opera for it. Sooooo, I wrote back to him and told him that I will be doing that and I will also be asking all of you, my buds, to do the same! So, what do you say? Wanna band together and nominate our favorite community to win something neato? Here's what the Crunchies site says about the whole thing:

If you are a site, grab a badge to encourage your community to nominate you for a Crunchie. 2) Vote on finalists The Crunchies Committee will choose five finalist companies for each award category. Finalist voting will run Monday, December 15 through Monday, January 5 midnight PST . 3) Join the ceremony!
