WTF?!

Okay...I realize that making fun of a person who has any sort of handicapable issue is wrong...HOWEVER, when they act all ghetto and think they're a thug badass, it's a different freakin' story!

OMG...This is a deer in headlights moment if I ever did see one! :eyes:

P.S. Sorry I haven't been around here for the past couple of days. I have sold out and have been hanging out on Facebook instead. They have a new game called Latte Land...can't get enough of it. :yikes: :coffee:

Video Random Randomness©: Part III

, , ,

I've noticed some things while watching this video that I was completely unaware of before:
• I have a minor lisp. I seriously had NO idea. Nobody's ever told me before.
• I roll my eyes A LOT!
• My chin looks enormous on camera!
• I giggle too much when I'm anxious.
• My hand is FAR from steady!
• It seems like I slur a lot. Huh? WTF is up with that? I'm sober, damn it!

In addition to those little gems, I would like to add that no - I am not dying. I have bags under my eyes and always have. I'm Arabic & that goes with the territory. I do everything I can to cover those things up, but am not generally too successful. I've been wanting surgery to correct them since I was about 12...I get sick of people pointing them out and asking me if I'm tired. :frown: I'm not tired...I'm just deformed.

I won't mention the bags again. I just felt the need to explain them since someone mentioned them the last time I did a video. This is me, people. Take me or leave me.

Okay - now that I've justified everything I can think of ( ), here's my babbling face:

I'm Counting The Days...

...not only 'til this movie comes out, but also until December 21, 2012. Call me a freak, a follower, a conspiracy theory moron...I don't care. I firmly believe something Earth changing will occur on that date. I believed it long before this movie had even begun production. (Sorry, phonies - the movie's site is Flash. )

Anyway, check this trailer out.
Pretty flippin' trippy! :eyes:

Birthday Babbling

, ,

As most of you already know, today is my 36th birthday. :hat: Thank you to those of you who have been amazing with the birthday wishes. It means the world to me!

I've decided that I'm going to kinda babble about what I've learned over the past 36 years...

No matter what my chronological age, I will always feel younger than I am. This is most certainly why I mesh so well with younger people...even kids. It's not just that they like me or something...it's more like I'm one of them! I never want this fact to change. Life is far too long & difficult to not have fun in the process.

NEVER trust first impressions when it comes to the opposite sex. No offense, men...I know there are A LOT of good ones out there. I simply have a history of making bad choices where relationships are concerned. People are always on their best behavior at first...I've learned that people need to give it time before they fully commit to someone. You never know what the other person will end up being like once their true colors are revealed. (Hence Marc.)

I grew up very spoiled - got everything I wanted. When I got into the 'real world', I had absolutely no clue that it'd be so rough. Soooo, I've not only learned to live with shit-tons less & be truly happy...but I've also learned to teach my kids that they don't get everything they want and that life has some pretty freakin' harsh realities. I think that sugar-coating the world around us for the kids would be a huge disservice to them.

True friends come in all shapes, sizes, colors...etc. There was a time in my life when I was far more judgmental than I am now. I guess I've learned to cut the general population of the world some slack. After all, harboring feelings of dislike, hatred, and negativity only hurts me. I try to find the best in everyone. Yes - there are people I truly cannot stand. I'm not perfect...but I would still never wish said people harm. There was a time in my life when all I did was wish people harm, so I can say I've grown quite a bit in that respect.

I've learned over the years that I detest cooking (although I'm good at it, damn it!), but have quite a knack for baking. Cupcakes are my very favorite things to bake. I adore them.

I have always put everyone before myself. Always. I still do. I now realize that this isn't healthy, but I cannot seem to be selfish...even in a good way. I really need to work on this. Treating myself like shit isn't setting a good example for my kids - especially my daughter. I really, really struggle with this one.

The older I get, the more & more I detest politics, but mostly politicians.

I have almost every disorder known to man, but I'm finally at a point in my life where it doesn't embarrass or bother me. I've learned to live with everything in a fairly productive and healthy way. I used to feel overwhelmed by all the mental shit...but I have an inner peace now that I've never had before.

Speaking of the inner peace - I'm sure it's got a lot to do with my faith. I'm not exactly sure how long I've been a Christian now. I thought it was only a year, but now that I really give it thought, I'm thinking it's been two years. Ever since I began to give my life to God, I feel much more safe and secure. As they say - if God is with you, who can be against you? If only I'd have seen the light much sooner in life. Oh well.

I have zero regrets in life...and I will never have any. I don't think I could've said that 10 years ago.

I never thought I'd say this, but I now realize just how important exercise & healthy eating is. I used to be quite the junk food junkie and hardly ever got exercise. Ugh...I felt so much more weighed down than I do now. Being active, enjoying life, and giving my body the proper fuel it needs in order for me to enjoy my life has become a priority.

I always knew I had an artistic side to myself. I took every art class my high school offered...and some on the side. I've always had a passion for art. I used to draw & paint, but that's been years. I now use my computer to create stuff. I only wish I had more time to create things I really enjoy. Lately, I've just been cranking stuff out for other people & not really enjoying being artistic like I used to. I hope this will change & go back to the way it was. I truly miss it - it seems to complete me when I'm able to spend time doing artistic stuff for myself.

Now that I'm an old fart, I like WAY more foods than I used to. Yes, I am still quite picky, but not nearly as picky as I used to be. With age has come the ability to ignore the appearance of the food & enjoy the flavor. Broccoli is a perfect example. I refused to even try it when I was younger. Now it's my favorite veggie. In other words, I'm not nearly as shallow about it. :D

This is going to sound totally cruel and mean, but I generally cannot stand kids! I adore and love my own...and I also quite like some friends' kids, but I'd say that I cannot stand a good 90% of children I come across in public. Is it just me, or have they become brattier and less respectful? I'm telling you what - if I caught my kids saying/doing some of the stuff I see these little brats at WalMart doing, I would go ape shit on their asses. No - I've never hit my kids. Never had a reason to.

I've learned that I pretty much hate driving now that I'm older. Not sure what it's about, but I would MUCH rather passenger than drive. It's not that I'm a bad driver...quite the contrary. I just hate doing it...I NEVER EVER would've thought I'd say that! I remember when I first got my license when I was 16...oh man. I wouldn't get out of my car! Now I don't even like going in a car just to go get coffee. (which I'm STILL out of. )

You know, I could go on and on like this for hours, so I think I'll just go ahead and stop now. Thank you again to all of you wonderfully amazing people who have sent me cards, created blog entries just for me, wished me a happy birthday...basically, thank you for being my friends. I'm going on three years here on My.Opera, and I've never met a group of such genuinely good people in one place! I love you guys to death...whether you realize it or not, you keep me going at times. Thank you again!

And now here's a lovely song by Dethklok for you to enjoy! :headbang: It's called "Birthday Deathday" - I picked one with lyrics that show on there so you know what the hell he's saying. :headbang: (Dethklok freakin' pwns!!!)

Decaf Columbian Crystals, Anyone?!

,

I was talking with Dennis & Cupcake earlier about an old Saturday Night Live skit with Chris Farley. The one where they replace his usual coffee with some crappy crystals shizzle. Well, after finally finding it, I watch it & laughed my freakin' ass off!

Soooo, I thought that perhaps some of you could use a good laugh.
Enjoy!

EDIT: I'm fairly certain that I would react the same exact way! :irked:

ANOTHER EDIT: Cupcake just reminded me of a coffee spoof that Lonnie & I had done at Denny's a while back. Although Lonnie has begged me not to post it, how can I resist? I mean, really. He says, "The acting is SO horrible...I look like a retard!" I'm like, "That's the point! Duh!" So here it is...

O...M...G. :yikes: I have never seen something more badass in my entire life! :headbang: What am I referring to? A piano cover of a Slayer song. :headbang:

The chick playing the piano is freakin' amazing! Even if you don't like Slayer (Shame on you!), there is NO denying the talent being displayed. :eyes:

If you don't know what the original song sounds like, you can listen to it HERE. :headbang: I really recommend it so that you'll be able to fully grasp just how incredibly badass this pianist is!

Anyway, here's the video I'm going all insane over:

Can you freakin' believe that?!?!?!?! :yikes::eyes::eek:

AMAZING....:faint:

P.S.
Isn't Tom Araya (singer/bassist) the most sexeh man on the planet?!:love:
