I don't need to say much - it's pretty self explanatory. Yes, I know I sound like a young dork. No need to inform me of this fact. Enjoy..or at least try to!
My lovely and hilarious daughter, Sunny and I decided to shoot a video to show you guys the transformation that took place within our house today. As most of you know from years past, I really get into Christmas. Seems like every Christmas that goes by, I wind up with new Christmas decorations and other Christmas goodies. Honestly, I have my Mom to thank for most of that. She's the most generous person I've ever known and never fails to spoil me...especially where the Christmas decorations and other items are concerned.
Anyway, I'd say we're about 70%-80% finished with the Christmas decorating. While the house already looks like a freakin' winter wonderland, I tend to have a, "You can never have too much Christmas stuff in your house" attitude. I think the fact that Jameson was born on Christmas day 20 years ago is partially the reason for this attitude.
Just to give you some idea of how much things have changed over the course of today, here is a picture of what our living room looked like about a month after we moved into the new house in mid-July: Admittedly, it looks pretty sterile and bare. This was taken before we unpacked most of the house decorations and got pictures hung on the wall, etc. Also, I'm incredibly OCD, so sterile works well for me.
A simple picture wouldn't show our level of Christmasness (Yes, I made that one up.) So that's why Sunny and I opted for a video. Without further adieu, here is said rushed video:
