Re: “Little Saigon” for Story Road

Honorable Mayor and Council Members,

I am writing this letter to express my anger about council member Madison Nguyen openly offending the Vietnamese people in one of her recent interviews. She stated that those who came to the city meeting had “too much times in hand” therefore their voices were not to be valid. Ms. Madison Nguyen also tricked people in the vote for the name of SJ Story Road, and several times refused to meet with her own people to discuss the issue.

I sincerely urge the Council to reconsider the name of the Story Road. - “Little Saigon” is what we believe in and are proud of (RDA 10/10/2007 result: Little Saigon (37.6%) – New Saigon Business District (6.8%) – Saigon Business District (5.1%)

I know that a lot of Vietnamese people around the world are waiting for San Jose City Council to make decision. Please do not fail us.

Writing this letter with my strong belief in the United States Freedom and Democracy.
