I am still alive and kicking
In fact, I have so much work that I didn't have time to blog at all. The last four days I was on a trip to Côte d'Azur which was totally awesome! I will post more pics when I have time to process them, but for now this shall suffice.

EDIT: And by the way:
Thank you!

Huda fotka.

(I think it depends what kind of camera you have got. I use Canon 1Ds which has got more (something) than similar ones....) then it's getting far too hard:)
I really think this one is cool and it doesn't look like it's been through "photoshop" (or at least not too much:))

@julka: I asked him what program or how does he process his images, to get this "film type" look.
He answered that he uses 1ds, which has more noise but different sensor type (or build) makes images more sharp and more "film" look.

I personaly believe that (years of) experience on film somehow elevate your demands for digital images as well. You know that picture can produce more than it actually does and you know what kind of look you are searching for. This is critical for BW conversion which is still very problematic at digital photography. I have about 6-7 years of experience in darkroom so I know about possibilities and limitations of analogue BW technique, hence I am not so easily happy with digital results. I saw only a few convincing digital BW so far (and most of them were made by guys who are expers on film).
But there are no easy answers for Photoshop or any other program. They have all the same basic slides (contrast, hue, shadows, levels...). You have to take a look at each photo individually and work on it. I for one don't enjoy this work very much and I don't process photos a lot. Just basic things.
