Happy on digital?

After two years being almost strictly on digital cameras I am having some sort of a an emotional phase. I miss film!!!
I bought a couple of rolls of really high-end film and rediscovered the magic of it. Better than digital? You be the judge.

but I can't help, I'm not a professional photographer, and I'm too lazy to use a non-digital camera. XD

I came to photography a bit late for film, basically never shot a roll (forget about cheap P&S cameras). But the results, the colours, transitions, grain,... is su much more pleasing then from the digital "successor".
Majbe I should go to basement and blow some dust from EOS 1000 (not the best, but it takes rolls) :)

The image from the digital camera seems a bit 'wider'. Why is that? As far as I know the EOS 1D uses a full size sensor. Why then, does the image arrear a little 'zoomed out'?
