A shocking discovery, 35 years after the Turkish invasion in Cyprus, confirms that the Turkish troops are responsible for war crimes. Prisoners and even powerless children was killed from the “Attila” invaders. The Cypriot newspaper reports confirms the suspicion that kept hundreds of families in anguish for missing persons, which, without hope, waiting to find the remains of lost children, to offer a proper burial.

The remains of five Greek Cypriots captured by the Turkish invaders of Cyprus in 1974, which at the time of their captivity photographed by a Turkish journalist, found in exhumation carried out by the Exploratory Committee on Missing Persons (NE) in the occupied village Tzia and identified with the method of DNA. In the same tomb found fourteen other bones, which have not been identified.

Also identified a few days prior using the method of DNA, the remains of a Greek family, who were executed in cold blood in their home village in the Kyrenia Lapithos during the Turkish invasion of 1974. The discovery and identification of remains, was made after pressure from the U.S. Congress.
