A secret I share with the world...

My bites were so bad that the fleas had no choice but to target my upper back, my stomach, my arms, and my face and neck. I was soo covered in flea bites and scabs that people at school were calling me flea boy. I got permission not to suit up in pe class because it was soo bad.

Could you imagine beeing covered in a coating of bleeding puss and itchy bites for a whole seaon? I was in so much misery that each night I cried. I cried because I was worried about recieving my next batch of bites.

We all knew that these werent bed bugs for there was no evidence, and we knew that it was cats because we had 3 of them. My whole body was left in scabs and red bumps. It was horrible, I rather be sick and throwing up than beeing covered with those.
I swore, I rather SELL my soul to the devil himself to escape my misery.

I went through a daily room cleansing. I would vacume my room like crazy and wash my whole bed while spraying flea powder on the carpets.
That wasnt enough to keep them away, they had an eternal source.... the cats.

The bites eventually disappeared, and I was free to wipe my hand across my legs without running into scabs, or blood from the ithcing, or an itchy bump. I am still reminded of the days when I would wake in the middle of the night no find my legs covered in puss, blood and bites. I knew that it was fleas to blame. I had flea eggs in the blankets, and on the computer desk.

I have scars from the bites, and I will always remember those days when I was haunted by fleas. Such a small thing can cause such a big misery!
