Leviathan - The Blind Wound details

Today the Southern Lord Blog posted some details about the upcoming Leviathan 12" EP "The Blind Wound", previously released as a split CD with Sapthuran. That cover looks absolutely stunning, but the red/green X-mas plastic is terrible. Time to start reconsidering the limited colour vinyl scam, at least in the name of aesthetics?Wrest violently lashes out with 5 grim tracks of mayhemic black metal. This exclusive vinyl release from Southern Lord features the Leviathan tracks from the split cd with Sapthuran that came out earlier this year on Battle Kommand Records. These are aguably the most devastating tracks from Leviathan yet recorded. FINALLY recorded with a real drum kit as well (as opposed to the electronic V-drums on all the other releases) Utterly ferocious, ugly and fucking mean. Wrest created a brand new painting especially for the release and it adorns the cover of the lp jacket. Mailorder customers get the limited RED/GREEN colored version of the album.

yeah , yeah yeah, you cant please all!!! There was actually a mis-communication between the manufacturer and the label and the split color vinyl versions were supposed to be swirled (like on the Lurker of Chalice vinyl). Xmas themed was an total accident.

I have that one. It's better having the X-Mas themed EP than no EP at all.
