Malefic/Xasthur is now running an official blog over at xasthurnews.blogspot.com, apparently started "To clear some things up". The first update contains a couple of paragraphs about Malefic's views on Myspace, as well as a little update on the upcoming album "Defective Epitaph".

New cd (Defective Epitaph) will be completed by Jan '07 and come out later in the year, this album has real drums and real cello on most tracks, so all assuming aside, expect something different and....dark.

The official Xasthur web site has also been updated, for the first time in a couple of years, with this piece of news.
